If Kyle shared my emotions he would rip off something's head.
I was literally doing perfect on Shadow raid and I just fell off the damn ladder and failed.

Hmmm.

I haven't really been paying attention to the IC for the last...15 pages or so, partially because I didn't realize just how many were going by. So where, what, and who are the PCs still fighting?

I feel like I should Have Brannagh and Machkobeln just narrate fights for gratification. Just to be funny a little bit.

I think the only reason why the PCs are actually at a disadvantage though, is that there is little coordination, strategy or in fact, any sort of communication going on. Everyone just kinda picked a target and then repeats "I slash" every round. With such a fighting style, yep, it's going by statistics - and that is dead even, with the inevitable conclusion.
I think a more worrying part of that is how damn boring it is. With no real strategy or coordination, they're just wailing on each other like drunkards in a barfight. You could pretty much just use their stats to roll an end result and it would be rather accurate in this situation.

Was that Big and Heroey enough?

Spensir currently has Temple Armor on, Mabarius is in Not-Quite-Final-Form, and he turned on Vital Surge.

Aka: He's in Badass mode.

It depends on what he rolls. And whether any enemy happens to be carrying a lightning rod :P

This is where Amazeroth beats the shit out of him XD

Gotta subvert the tropes, man. You should also post a combat action.

Subverting tropes meaning 'The Bad Guys Win Afterall'? Because that, too, is a trope.

Also, I was wanting to see if people reacted, since that was a good stopping point for the badassery.

Personally, I'd feel that it would be more impressive if he made no announcements and justly silent prepared a ranged weapon like a railgun and sniped a Sultane.

Don't worry guys. Once Winry supercharges Hilda's resistance she's going to go MASS glass cannon on their asses. Like 50 MAG + major spells do a shit ton of damage.

Assuming she doesn't get killed. Or Ashley gets too damaged. Or no other curses get involved. Or that Spensir's storm doesn't affect accuracy. Or that Wintry doesn't fail. Or that HILDA doesn't miss.

Hilda could put some stats in SKILL too, since missing with magic would be a bad thing. Or she could up her skill more and just snipe. Either way, it would take a lot to hit her since she's so far away. Only thing that would stop her is the curse.
