More or less. He was, at any rate. Zeus, Thor, Taranis, etc. etc. Not Set, though, strangely enough. With the advent and major breakout of Christianity, he was forced to/chose to turn towards other means of sustaining himself, and eventually he became/got bound to/was imprisoned within/took the form of a sword(he'd been weapons before, and he preferred that form in many cases), and under various names, incarnations, types of sword, etc., he lasted through the last two millenia.

I put all the slashes because you don't quite get to know everything about him. Though, it's certainly possible he was Excalibur...

>go to the finest suit shop in town
>buys a little dress for our halfling cleric
>buys a nice orange suit for myself
>KK fucking takes out a monster book and looks over it, asking if they have shit like hydra hides or dragonscale suits. wtf. Asks if they have changeling skin suits and I smack his ass.
>asks for wyvern hide belt with a skull, most expensive silk suit, etc. even asks for a fire illusion on the suit.
>order is placed.

>couple days later, he gets the suit. Pays 5000 fucking gold for it. The fire activates when KK's full name is said, normally at the ball.

I can't precisely explain Creation. Not my lore expertise.
Basically where all humans, aliens, and animals live. So like Earth, Mars, any other goddamn planet. Space as well, actually.

Then there's the void, which basically eats Creation. And between those, are Wall Street and the Twilight. Those separate void and Creation.

Then you have shit like demons which are both, going into complex wave physics and all that.

Demons are the 99.999999% of Void-Creation beings.

The .0000000001% are Voidwalkers. Void-Creation beings that can live in both Creation and the Void without having to be summoned, or have to have some sort of enchanted stuff. They're humans that have been eaten by the void, and been reborn via the void. These don't count souls sent into the soul mill. Ashley, so far, is the only Voidwalker.

Or Alucard which is a slight mix of void because of Bartimaeus who is a slight mix of creation, also probably the only void entity that isn't a walker that can phase into creation, completely bypassing the void gate.
And Lizzie, who has a dangerous wolf void entity fused with her soul which constantly fights for dominance.
