Alucard is just really ambitious in his research. Being the first the unravel the enigma that is souls, and possibly even create them? He believes he can even turn himself into a god if he wanted to.

Wait, by single use wormhole, you mean it only allows travel by something through it once before it closes, right? What if the thing traveling through it is really damn long? As in like a thread that is being continuously produced so that it never truly finishes passing through it?

What if an entity that never truly ends travels through it, would it consequently remain open as the entity has yet to fully pass through?

What defines an entity though? Is a single photon hitting the portal the entity? Is a person the entity? Is the entire universe the entity? After all, they are all entities.

Why does the programming language matter so much? It's always converted into the relevant machine code upon compilation anyway, so Kyle's complaint that he and Winry can't understand it is kind of moot, since neither of them would understand the resultant machine code either.
