Constanza is both a renowned figure in math and science and a major advocate of space development. Hell, she might be rich now off of some of the payoffs. After all, her goal is self-preservation, and if she can skip town on the planet in a pinch, that's pretty preservative.

Stella (Watters) has likely faded into not-adventuring. She's done with that shit, really.
