but again, is Modular Abilities OK?

From what I garner, not as a PC. You'll steamroll over everyone and everything. Shys could be an NPC, though, as long as she isn't too influential.

I just realized that Mod Ab would need NPC anyway.

needs waaaay more points than we start with to be useful, since the one she'd have has a 1/10 conversion ratio.

Soooo I'm making 682-chan.

Their advantages would be something like this:

Bloodlust -10
Enemies (IRIS or Midorikawa Group, @ Gm's Discretion) (Large Group, Hunter) -40
DR (Absorbtion, Semi-Ablative, No Armor) - 21 levels, 147 points
Sanitized Metabolism - 1 pt
Penetrating Voice - 1 pt
No Hangover - 1 pt

Ability: Adaptive Carapice Armor. in GURPS terms:
Damage Resistance - Absorption, Semi-Ablative, No Armor. (double cost, 10 levels, 140 points.)
SPECIAL RULES: In order to apply Absorbed PP, Talia must make a check against Magic with a DC equal to the total amount of points to be spent in a turn. This is a reflexive action and does not consume her action for the round, but cannot be rerolled until the next round. She must also expend a number of motes use an amount of mana equal to twice the PP spent this way. Points fade as normal in the GURPS handbook, at a rate of 1 point/round.
Additionally, since this leaves me with 10 points, I took Striker (Tail, Impaling damage, 8 points) and Teeth 2 (Impaling Damage FTW~)

Examples:

Negligible: Hit with a rock. shrugs it off.

Small: Shot. heals the wound and hardens armor against further damage.

Medium: hit with a car. grows a scorpion tail and impales the driver with it.

Big: Hit with a bomb. starts breathing plasma.

Enormous: Nuked. Becomes temporarily immortal.

Gigantic: Thrown into a black hole. Comes out the other side super dense and really pissed off.

Say Hi to 682-chan.

Talia's gonna murder some wankers.

Oh, and for anyone that's wondering how the whole DR thing works.

Also, she needs to risk taking damage to fill up what is essentially her MP.

Um... looks like Kyle still uses Merlin in the GMpost.

But yeah she's stupid strong. Absorbtion DR is one of the most cheesy abilities in all of GURPS.

Well his can work with any spell

she has to be hit with an attack.

Also huh, reading the Op it looks like the nature of her ability MIGHT warrant a bonus, actually, since she starts at 0 mp where everyone else defaults to full at the start of a scene.

Ok, To be completely honest, No matter how 682 is made, statted, or otherwise written, it's just going to end up being another immortal being that no one can deal with IC or OOC. Rebooting the game was meant to get away from that. No offense, but please do not make such an OP character. And yes, Talia is OP. No matter how you fight her, all she does is get stronger. There is no winning against her. So yeah, I'm going to quit complaining now and get back to finishing up Sen for when the game starts.

But the simple solution is to use AP ammo and regularly switch tactics, which I think is actually a really good thing as it means EVERYONE is having to change things up when they fight.

Also, should we include the thing with the undead I posted in the V2 thread?
