Man, all of this talk of MGQ reminds me that Neferis still exists. And a bunch of my other characters who are no longer important nor used anymore (Namely Ester, Lunette and Rose). And all of everyone else's characters who have faded into the background. RotMG has been going on forever, hasn't it?

Lots of characters have faded into obscurity because a bunch of people disappeared and/or left from lack of shipping.

Don't worry, Lunette already knows about Kyle's death. She just can't do anything about it because reasons. Plus she has been alive hundreds of years now due to living on a faster plane of existance. I'm pretty sure that nobody would be happy with a thousand-year old elven ritualist came back for revenge.

Way back in the old V2 thread, the party was whisked to this mysterous pocket dimension called the Land of the Ever Young. There one of the original members of the Northdale Five, Kyle, shacked up with an elven ranger. Eventually the party returned back to Earth, and a couple of days/weeks later Lunette showed up to meet her father.

Obviously Lunette was the fruit of Kyle and the ranger's brief union, which I suppose makes her a half-elf than a full one. Anyways, time in the Land of the Ever Young runs much faster than on Earth, meaning that when Lunette arrived she was already 117~ years old. However she had elvish ancestry and thus physically still a child instead of a old woman (though technically every human in the Land of the Ever Young remains in their prime and doesn't die of old age but eh, you know what I'm getting at).

Being so old and so physically young, Lunette combined maturity and childness with an insatiable curousity and a love of books. She was good with magic, but couldn't throw fireballs or anything like that. Instead she was a ritualist, constructing magic circles using a wide variety of materials to enchant equipment and cast spells. As such she was a support character, using her technical know-how to help complete any tasks at hand.

During the five-year timeskip between V2 and V3, Lunette unwillingly returned to the Land of the Ever Young with her best friend/future wife Yomiko. Yomiko is the daughter of Sen and thus a demon, which suits Lunette just fine because it means that they get to grow up together. After the timeskip she appeared only once more, when the party visited her using a mystical artifact since she had left behind family on Earth. Obviously thousands of years had passed in the Land of thd Ever Young, during which she married Yomiko, had plenty of children (demon reproduction is kinda weird) and delved into magical research to design magnificent things for her employers.

Other than that one instance Lunette hasn't appeared in V3, since travel to her pocket dimension is blocked off which is why the party used that artifact to visit her for it could be used to travel anywhere that exists. However Lunette is not hampered by this restriction and could visit Earth whenever she wants but her obligations keep her in the Land of the Ever Young, so she would only show up for very important moments. Like her half-sister's wedding, but I was an idiot and completely forgot about that until it was too late. Welp.

tl;dr version: Lunette is a legacy character and thus pretty unimportant. You don't have to know who she is.

I kinda doubt that you or anybody else will actually take the time to read it, but if was fun making it anyways. It's nice to remember the good old days. And then work on making some more good old days to remember. _{AKA playing the game and having fun.}
