@Kansa, Sen has 4 Paperstock, since I'm doing away with her normal paperstock mechanic to allow her a bit more strength.

This would have been nice to know at the beginning, since it puts everything into perspective now. Before it was hard to tell how easily she could have spammed things or the relative costs of her spells. So... Here are my revised thoughts. This is assuming that paperstock can't be recovered during a fight of course, and that increasing the amount of paperstock is going to require a perk for another point.

Thoughts:
Blood Soaked needs to specify that the bonus to damage is to the range of the roll, and not just a straight up damage modifier, because the way it's worded it seems like a straight up damage modifier. Though since she's dropping a quarter of her paper stock on that spell... It could be a straight up damage modifier.
Reaping Spiral still needs to be based off a stat, so that its damage can scale with her levels and that the target can make an appropiate defense roll. I don't care what it's purpose is for or whether you make the damage fixed to the value of her STR/MAG, I'm just saying that flat damage is going to eventually be obsolete. But if it scales with a stat it'll be fine.
Kicking and Screaming is... Yeah. Moving on.
Insult to Injury is even more hilariously underpowered now. 50% paperstock for a whole extra 2 damage a turn? Why even bother?
Paper Dragon is better now. Expending 75% paperstock for 4x STR damage is... Honestly still way better than anything a magic user could pump out. Especially with the added AoE damage... Either increase the paper stock to 4, or make the damage 3x and 1x and it'll be fine more acceptable. Because for something that Sen can easily bust out it's really damaging, and the cost isn't high enough to reflect that.
I still have no idea how the heck Demonic Cruficiation is supposed to work. It just looks like a bunch of fluff, without any actual effects or damage. So I can't really talk about it because... I don't know what it does.
Bloom looks even weaker now. The instakill chance should probably be increased to compensate.
Needlestorm is alright now. No real complaints here.
Weren't the world-spanning organizations supposed to be used very sparingly?
Though with DARPA apparently taken over and a trainload of combat robots going through Iraq, that does sound like the kind of thing we'd call IRIS and MPRA in for. Because it's a reasonable response to the situation. The only unreasonable thing is to expect them to moblize so quickly, since they aren't on combat alert.
I have absolutely no idea how Linda has so much pull with MPRA to get a couple of drones. Unless MPRA wanted to control the site for themselves...
I have not read the IC thread yet.

The Paperstock can be recovered, but each point requires a full turn to do so. Sen's Maneuvers are meant to be used as tactical decisions and not as "I could do this and totally decimate those people". :P It's a I can do this, but if I do I may not be able to do that later. Turns are important for melee characters after all.

Anyways:
Yeah, I'll need to reword Blood Soaked to reflect that.
Reaping spiral is meant to pure damage since it's only real purpose is to break grapples as well as giving the option of procing Bload soaked.
Insult to Injury looks underpowered? I didn't think it did :/ Huh...
Paper dragon is meant to make melee look better~ Because all our group is is like 4 melee people and like 30 magic users XD
Demonic Crucifiction is meant to be an semi-instant kill move on the person that inflicted enough damage to put Sen over the 50% mark. It's entirely up to the plot GM of whether or not this is allowed, as it can cause abuse. This is a move I will most likely not use unless allowed to and if it provides a touch of awesome to an ending, or if it helps save lives. (Example being the 03. That would be a very very good use for it. :3)
Bloom does look underpowered, but the percentage is a lot better than it looks.
Kicking and Screaming is definetly a Yeah, moving on kind of action :P

Also, as for a perk sen can take to add a fifth point, yes. Yes there is one. Sen will mostlikely have it at tenth level since I have a fifth level perk picked already~

It's a good thing a lot of the characters are adults and famous heroes by now. And maybe people would be more willing to actively investigate it if you weren't so happy about the thought of killing characters and gloating about how tough the bosses you make are.
I don't understand your problem. The enemies are supposed to be hard, there's supposed to be a risk. Without risk, you do not get any satisfaction with defeating the enemy.
Akroma isn't trying to kill players. In fact, she's trying to do the opposite, like all of us do. If you're used to a game where the PCs are just super powerful and can't be killed, then I have no idea why, because to me a game like that seems extremely boring.
[/rant]
Kj isn't getting at the enemies being hard. He's pointing out Akroma's "supposed" desire to kill characters off whilst being happy about it. I'm not throwing my two cents into any of this, however, and could be wrong.
Basically this. I would never trust someone who appears to be a killer GM to make a plot I find fun because of our massively different definitions of fun.

Reaping Spiral still needs to scale. Just a thought.
Injury to Insult is 2 damage a turn for 2 paperstock. That's barely anything, especially with how much it costs.
Paper Dragon doesn't make melee look better. It just makes Sen look overpowered. It should be toned down a bit.
Demonic Crucification is... Eh.
Bloom still looks wimpy to me, but that's your choice.

Eh... That's all from me, I guess. Whack Paper Dragon down and Sen's maneuvers will be fine, I think.

to be honest, I really do not know what you do find fun KJ. If it is player interaction without any rolls or fights, well, you don't need a GM for that, just talk to people. heck, if need be, talk to them about the desert stuff, etc etc, maybe explore some lore here and there and stay out of the fights.

if it is organising armies and coalitions of humans and whatever on a huge scale, that kinda stuff -will- come. But not in the second chapter of the plot.

if it is characters totaly being awesome badasses who just off-handidly defend their home from zombie invasion, like what happened in your plot, then I must disappoint you, I do not find that kind of gameplay in any way shape or form interesting. Chaos knight leads zombie army to press some nonsensical demands and gets stopped by the PCs with no effort, there is just no sense of excitement there for me.

I am building my bosses to be powerful, a hard to pinpoint and actually stop, rather than just slow down threat that actually require a bit of effort to work around, and give the entire thing a sense of impact. That way, when the players eventually win, they will be so much more awesome than any PCs that just keep on snacking zombie armies on weekends, but call their daddy when stuff goes down.

If you want problems to be solve-able with just a phonecall and find that fun then indeed, you will probably never get that kind of fun from me.

Linda has a lot of pull because she knows when to appropriately call for gunships, or any backup really. So like the LA headquarters being spotted, she of course called in dropships. Though say there was a couple hydras attacking Northsdale, and she tried to call in help, the most she would probably get was a cleanup crew.

All in all, she's just a respected agent of theirs.

Well, I don't find having a character I've been playing for well over a year dying fun. It just doesn't interest me. I also don't find having my character cockblocked from what could be a cool fight fun. It's actually very disappointing. I play this to be a badass hero who has saved the world. Not some weakling who struggles through fights.

despite what you think, I do not actually kill characters easily. In the Amazeroth fight people got LOW, but did you ever see me actually finish someone off in a way that would actually befit an enemy that really wants you to die? And even when chars got really low, I did send PMs to PN and Wolfchild for example, prior to them going below zero, asking them if they were okay with it. Notice how Tobias is still alife, eventhough Belkelel knows fully well where he is *hiding*, and Hilda too will not be chased down, unless they actually give a reason to chase them down. It might even make sense in-game, considering Belkelel thinks so lowly of human life (or life in general), she doesn't actually think any of you are worth killing - unless given a reason to.

Heck, it was me who came up with the rules regarding the fact that you can still be stabilized after going below 0, rather than just being dead. I am not a killer GM, I am a difficult GM, so don't get your panties in a bunch. Unless Kyle is on very low health and does very stupid stuff, he is unlikely to die.

So wait why did you complain about Bahamut being powerful and legitimately dangerous?

Did you just think it was contrived or something?
