Yeah I read through the sheet again and thought it might be that as well :p, but it talks about level ups as well so I'm not sure.

Eh... Hakim could take him, so I'm not too worried. Unless KJ heaps more bullshit upon him, because +10 to all rolls against Hakim is stupidly high. Just so you know.

The plus ten against Hakim is actually to nerf him. Hakim can move faster than Doc so he can kite him around.

Yeah... Pretty much. Even for a roaring rampage of revenge +10 to all stats is... stupidly high. At most I'd go with +2.

Plus Hakim is a tank, and thus kiting is very unlikely to happen. Unless you're stupid enough not to give your guy a ranged weapon, in which case it's your own damn fault.

I was just thinking that "hey, guess what? Kiting doesn't work in one-on-one fights where it's just people involved! Because life isn't a video game!"

Besides which, if it was just to prevent kiting(running forward vs. running backwards while trying to aim at someone...yeah no) it would only have to be speed anyway.

The part i find funny is that +10 isn't all that big. For being a level 5 character, Dr. Feel good isn't all that strong of an enemy. Especially considering his Speed is a 1d5 meaning that unless he specifically goes against Hakim, it means that he will continue to keep getting killed until he finally gets enough stats into speed to actually be able to dodge. I also assume that Feel Good is only able to level up by dying? If so then if he isn't used in battle enough then the Player Characters will level up faster than him and it puts him out of threat range. I find this actually kind of self moderating.

Sanure, +10 is like... an increase of half to each of his stats. And that's a bonus without having to roll or anything like that. It's a massive increase in all of his abilities, except it's only against Hakim. Which makes me worry a bit because... +10 against Hakim. Having one of my characters singled out by a character with massive bonuses against them does not strike me as rather fun or fair... If it was cut back a bit a lot, then I would be fine with it. But right now? Not at all.

Then all I can propose is make the +10 an addition to the roll in the sense of +d10. so against hakim the enemy would roll a 1d15, but against say Sen he rolls a 1d5. How does that sound?

That's still... at least +1 to each stat. And on average +5. Still not the kind of thing a single perk should give... Also are we going to work on Sawyer soon or what?
