overpowered he/she is.

Name: James White
Age: 24
Description: Stands about 5 foot, 11 inches in height so fairly tall for his age group. Has a bit of a bulky, blocky,
more burly physique to him that surprisingly doesn't hamper his movement. Has fair skin and hazelnut eyes with
short, yet slightly wavy deep brown almost pitch black hair. His attire somewhat changes to reflect the weather,
but he can be typically seen wearing a navy blue short-sleeved shirt, black sweatpants, and dark laced shoes with
socks. Can be seen wearing a black and blue jacket on colder days.
When in MG form, appears as a tall, athletic yet rather slim-looking girl in her late teens, with long flowing
navy blue hair that has two ponytails with drill spirals on the end. Creamy white skin and blazing blue eyes,
donned in a black tank top with neon blue lines and a heart symbol on her ample bosom, wears black pantyhose
with thigh-high black leather heeled boots, leather shorts, black fingerless gloves with triangle pieces on top and a flowing
black longcoat, decorated with white lining and a hood, the symbol of a crescent moon on her back, and a
black choker. When using certain abilities, pieces of armor form on her body including gauntlets, armored boots,
and so on.
History: Alright, where to begin? I guess the best place to start is in the beginning. Gotta get this all down for
history's sake, that way I can look back later and say "this all really happened. I was there, so I know this
happened." Now than...
My name is James White, or as some have come to call me the "Angel Of Death" or some rubbish like that. I
was like you once, good reader, well, other than your cliched tragic backstory. Grew up in a rough neighbourhood,
didn't have many friends, parents couldn't care less what happened to me, bullied at school, the whole shebang.
But hey, you know what? That's life for ya, it always got its ups and downs. You take your breaks when you get
them but what's important is you never fold to it. That's one of the things that kept me going.
So yeah, parents died on me at one point, went to stay with a foster family, turned my life around and started
making something of it. Now...this is the part where things get weird...like, Suda 51 levels of weird.
My encounter with the world of magical girls started around the same time I was in college. It was summer time
and me, being an Otaku, stop laughing, decided to take a trip to the nearest anime convention over in a nearby
town. The convention was good...up until I was on my way home that night and found myself beamed up into
some sort of ship.
Apparently, this was my first encounter with said alien invaders who were kidnapping people and probing
their minds in order to learn our culture...and our weaknesses. For some reason, this particular group had
thought it would be a good idea to examine the "Magical Girl" phenomenon..in the long run, that might not have
been one of their smarter ideas.
Soon after being captured, and having my memories probed, apparently they created an "avatar" who...kinda went
a little loopy in the head, and decided to break me free...in exchange for taking her core program with me. Apparently,
"Shining Star" as she was known, wanted to turn on her creators, having grown attached to humanity through the memories.
Realizing that these aliens were planning an assault on Earth, I agreed, and we escaped. Me being forced to use her
"Magitek" armor to fend off our pursuers...the kicker being said armour turned me into a girl in the process. We escaped
the ship...only to have it turn into a giant mecha on us!
....I wish I was making that up...
So, I decided to end the absurdity by, after a duel in the sky, calling up my equivalent of Nanoha's Starlight Breaker...and
blasting a giant hole through its face.
There wasn't much to do after that other than head home and start figuring out a game plan. The world was in major shit..at
least until I heard reports of other girls with magic powers across the world...sadly, I could not join them. Someone needed to
protect my home town, and I needed to put this new ability to good use, while trying to hide my identity...
The battle eventually ended...and with the existence of magic revealed to the world, me and Shining Star had a choice to
make...continue playing the Lone Wolf to protect my loved ones...or step out into the spotlight...decisions, decisions...
His general personality is somebody who doesn't talk too much, doesn't like being the center of attention
either, but at the same time is very kind-hearted, friendly when you talk to him, rather intelligent and very
strong-willed. Also carries a strong sense of standards and desire to protect others.

Ability: Magitek. A type of magic-based programming that is capable of learning and self-growth.
Draws energy from an connection to higher dimensions and draws in surrounding mana.
Negligible: Shining Star. An fairy that serves as the "avatar" for the program itself. Generally caring,
and frequently concerned about her "Master". Turned on her former owners after "awakening to justice"
and has been White's partner ever since.
Aura Sense: A passive aura that can be used to pinpoint the relative location of any magical objects
or beings. Only works over a limited range though.
Flight: Can call forth spectral wings formed from pure energy to fly.
Small: Sacred Flare: Shoots a charged up blast of energy from her weapon's blaster mode
that explodes on impact. Basic, not heavily damaging, but costs little energy and very reliable.
Boost Drive: Temporarily grants a boost to Strength And Speed. Add 1 for each. Effects last three turns.
Divine Slash: Swings her sword to launch a crescent wave of collected energy out.
Barrier: Forms a bright blue shield around herself that withstands basic attacks. (Increases Defence and
Resistance by 2)
Bind: Creates a simple bind spell that temporarily ensnares the target, halting their
movement temporarily. (Lowers Target's Speed by 1)
Azure Knuckle: Summons her gauntlet and charges power to deliver a close-range enchanted punch.
Medium: Sacred Blast: Charges up a mass of energy in her cannon and then fires shotgun-style
blasts. Most effective at close-range.
Acceleration: Equipping her boots, she exchanges mana for brief bursts of super speed, able to
move from one area to another within the same area in the time it takes to blink.
Release: Discharges a blast of pure unfiltered magic through the area. Her allies, when caught in
this wave receive a temporary boost in power and shortened recovery time from injuries.
Seeker Bombs: Creates a ring of explosive spheres around her that home in on the nearest
target, which has a marker attached to them, and explodes upon attachment. (Need to pass 1 Dice Roll
to plant the tracker, and another to unleash the bombs)
Divine Crash: Switches her weapon to Lance mode and releases a large burst of power from
it to act like a jet booster, abling her to blaze forward and smash through whatever gets in her way.
Corona Barrage: Her cannon's nozzle opens up to form multiple gun barrels. Charging up energy
for a turn, she can release a steady stream of laser fire like a gatling gun at her targets. (-2 to Skill
due to the lack of control this move gives)
Big:
Giant''s Armor: Her garb is covered over by a suit of reinforced material that functions like a
second suit of armor. Looking bulkier, with shoulder pads and a chest guard, and gauntlets along
with leg armor. This form grants huge defensive power and increases the strength of all her
attacks...at the price of making her slow as a tortoise. (+5 to Defense and +3 to Resistance, -8 to Speed)
She typically reserves this to act as a living shield and to give allies time to recover.
Azure Blade: Takes her sword and stabs it into the earth, triggering a large field of equally large energy
swords to erupt from the ground and skewer whatever is caught within. (Not much use though if the
target is flying)
Cobalt Buster: Gathers a large amount of energy within her cannon, several runic symbols forming
around it, before breaking and releasing a massive blast of energy. Powerful, but requires considerable
mana and needs two turns before it can be fired.
Trinity Bind: A much stronger version of the Bind Spell, able to capture multiple targets at once, or layer
over each other to create a single far more potent binding to catch one enemy.
Great Barrier: Calls up a powerful magic shield to serve as a defense against many manners of attack.
Considerably stronger than a normal Barrier but costs much more energy to use. (+4 to Defense and
Resistance while active)
Azure Breaker: An upgraded version of the Azure Knuckle. Both gauntlets are combined into one larger
gauntlet. A turbine starts up in it, emitting a whirlwind of energy around the device which can then
be released at close-range for a devastating blast.
Sacred Strike: Using her wings she flies into the air, creating several rings of energy in a row before
her. She descends through them, leg gathering power, and kicks the target full throttle with the force of
a speeding meteor.
Enormous:
Titan's Armor: One of her most powerful Magitek abilities, and one of the most dangerous too. Similar
to her Giant's Armor, only now she is capable of incredibly fast movement on top of her high defensive
and destructive power. The once bulky armor melds to her skin and reinforces itself. However, all this
power comes with a heavy price. The longer she keeps it on, the more her body will start to fail her,
as while it does bestow great power, it requires equally great power to channel and manage. Drawing
it directly from her own mana reserves.
There are long-term effects to using it extensively as well, including physical sickness, fatique, inability to cast magic
for a set period, and so on. As such, she tends to only use abilities like this as a last resort. (+3 to Strength, Speed,
Defense and Resistance...but afterwards, expects Mana to go way down, along with...other things..)
Celestial Buster: Another extremely powerful spell. Gathers a HUGE amount of mana into her weapon and
takes aim at the target. Runic symbols form in the air around her, adding more power and stabilizing the
spell. After three turns of charging up, the beams all fire at once. Powerful enough to destroy large groups
of enemies at once, or to take out one near unstoppable enemy. Again, this consumes ALOT of Mana to
fire, leaving the user fatigued, and only reserved for finishing off the target.
