So yeah, equipment. You'll get an equipment tonnage/budget, and you'll use that to choose mecha parts, like thrusters/armor/weapons/support modules/drone hangars/etc (yes, I have all this shit statted). Better stuff obviously takes up more space/monies.

Would you guys want tech-tree weapons and armor and stuff (do research, get better gear/more space/new modules), or everything from the get-go, with tonnage upgrades along the way?

problematic. As far as Amazeroths resurrection goes, Sen has a daughter, and recently created a new demon with her blood - so both of them still carry a small amount of amazeroths essence - enough to act as a focus. Which in short means, they do not nessecarily needs Sen alife. And considering how the mask works in regards to changing owners, Sen is actually going to be a primary target. What are the sultanes gonna do, punch her to 1 health and then switch targets? The sultanes can teleport, heck, one of them was involved in the invention of teleportation, Sen just teleporting out is far from a secure way of fleeing.

especialy if we consider equal opportunity - if the players can recognise a magical signature and then register it on a different continent, so can bosses.

it also drasticaly changes the feeling and tone of a fight if you enter it, knowing full well the GM may not kill you unless you allow it.

This. I've personally had enough of a few people thinking they lord over the majority.

Although it is fairly shoddy GMing if you push players into situations where they can die due to shitty dice rolls.

Also, unless you really want to confuse everybody, I'd call it something else other than Rise of the Mecha Girls. Simply because the acroymn RotMG already applies to this game, so making another game with the same acroymn is just going to annoy a lot of people.

Also also, don't just keep increasing tonnage. Add in a tech tree and research too. It'll be more interesting that way. And obviously research should be based on the ever-important Combat Data we always hear about.

Nothing wrong with fighting alien mechs. Even if they're from another dimension.

Also, I've already thought up my pilot, their mech and several of their quirks for the game. Admittedly they are an expy, but... I really can't wait for the game to start, okay?
