I feel the need to argue about initiative and that Franziska simply was too slow to simply steal Walpurgas spell.
Furthermore I argue that a negliable spell from Walpurga is not actually strong enough to lift and throw a whole person, let alone Icaeus who is much more heavier than that. Considering resistance rolls, it's also very unlikely to be dealing 18 damage.
And now don't go argueing that she just steals the type of magic and then does with it how she pleases. That A) would require knowledge of every kind of magic there is, and B) is not what happened at all in the previous turn, where Franziska clearly redirected the spell.
I also wish to add that to be stealing a spell that is not even aimed at you, and that has no visual representation of what is actually happening before it happens strikes me as arbitrary. Please some consistency
edit: Also *nope* Kansa send the lightning at Elysa, not Franziska. The one without powerarmor to tank the blow.
Here we go again... Now I have to reveal information to make a point.
1. If we went by initiative then she wouldn't be able to steal any spells.
2. She can upgrade the spells depending on how much mana she has. She starts with 0 mana and can absorb the mana of other spells, and can also passively regenerate mana for that spell's domain. She could steal the telekinesis, steal more creation spells for a few turns, and then cast a major telekinesis spell. But she couldn't steal Ashley's teleportation spell and absorb creation spells to fuel it, as she would need void mana. She can't absorb twilight spells.
3.A. She can't steal
every spell there is, but she has studied almost every point to where she can at least use each one somewhat. Some spells are impossible to steal, like Ashley's special or some of Spensir's spells. If she does attempt to steal such a spell, the TN is raised considerably (by like a 10).
B. She can steal a spell in one turn and cast it in the other turn, which also includes redirecting a spell.
4. She knows what spell you are casting. Kind of like how good thieves can appraise the stuff they are going to steal.
