also, I suddenly feel thirsty. Mostly because after a rum that is filtered through freshly burned wood, then swung through the smoke of a hooka and then garnished with a lit cigar is bound to scratch your throat to all hell

Idea for new character: Spirit Blacksmith. He forges weapons and imbunes them with spirits, allowing him to use them to kick ass. Somehow. Probably through multi-attacks or doing additional magic damage with them or something.

Sounds halfway reasonable? Or could we use something else?

With the current system, it's hard to make anything but a glass cannon and be effective, it seems like. >.> Magic is just freakishly powerful, when you can deal 5x your magic stat in damage, before any damage reduction comes into play.

I'm considering making an old hermit dude who believes in the old ways and calls upon the elements, though. Not too sure which system of elements to use, though I might just use all of them. I'm also considering a Faerie, since I'm hoping to slowly get that involved in shit.

Unfortunately, when the party has this many goddamn teleporters, and there's only one party, it just seems difficult to get anything interesting to happen without involving everyone. This ain't DnD; trying to have 20 people without splitting the party makes issues of it's own.

Physically? Not any better than a regular house.
Magically? Its anti-magic and anti-void fields have basically stopped everything short of an Archangel's anti-fortress blast and even then, the attack was severely attenuated.
