Influenza is clever; instead of killing us, it farms us.

It really is. It doesn't kill many, after all, dead people don't have any living cells to hijack. It mutates quickly, so old vaccines and immune responses cannot target newer strains and it's rather difficult to truly kill seeing as viruses aren't even alive, technically.

Which is why I'm considering it as one of the two candidate entities to have become the Fate Aspect that is summoned into Muramasa Blades. Namely due to it's tendency to hijack things and enter other possible hosts.
The other candidate being some supermassive blackhole at God-Knows-Where, primarily because the idea that people where being driven insane with bloodlust from whims of a nonsentient object with the only noteworthy property of being really damn dense amuses me greatly.

btw as it is mentioned that the combat knife is half the size of Icarus, Icarus combat body is actually rather small, only 1.40. The HYDRA is not going to be much bigger either

also are we still using that GURPS system or trashing it?
