I played LoL for a while.

I have to disagree about supports being easy to play, though. If that were true they wouldn't get ragged on so much.

Granted, I wasn't very good at the game at any rate and I admit it; I used Yi and that's about it. Didn't invest enough time in it to get to the proficient level where you know what everything is and does.

I prefer resource management, TBS, and RTS games.

The total war style is my favorite method for it. Turn based grand strategy, with real time tactics. And no silly base building crap.

Planetside 2 was pretty fun while I played it, not least because of the grand strategy element it had to it. I still wanna see some games that are combinations of strategy and FPS.

Speaking of which, in such a game, as you capture more nodes or bases or whatever, your opponent should get more resources while you get less. Why would you want to capture them in such a case, then? Simple. They're what get you victory points.

Mate, Age of Mythology was my childhood. Don't diss it's genre.

I also had fun with Dawn of War. That was a good game.

Don't get me wrong, Command & Conquer, Age of Empires, Battle for Middle Earth, all that stuff is good and all, but base-building stuff is everywhere, and it's kinda silly. I like having some games that are more realistic, as well.

It made me sad that only one or two of the Dawn of War games had Tau in it.

Poor Tau are underappreciated by everyone.

I remember something about higher up Tau having pheromones that make lesser ones submissive or something. I just don't remember if it's from one of the trust worthy books.

That's a theory, though people typically find it to be the most supported one(I personally support that they're secretly Daemons, personally).

They're divided in five castes; Fire, Water, Air, Earth, and Ethereal. Fire caste are the warriors, Air caste are the pilots/messengers, Earth caste are the builders, farmers, scientists, etc., Water caste are the diplomats, psychologists, and socializers. Ethereals are the leaders and no one's sure why the other castes follow them with such fanatic loyalty.

Before the Ethereals came, the castes were in a huge war and Tau society was on the verge of collapse, with technology being about mid-late medieval to early rennaisance, with black powder cannons. Ethereals arrive, stop the fighting(yes it's really that simple that's why they're so mysterious), bring Tau together as one and their society rockets forward.

They're actually the single nicest semi-major faction in the galaxy. Least xenophobic, framed as being incredibly naive and young because they aren't stupendously intolerant dickholes like every other race.

Don't get me wrong, though, they're still dicks. It's just that they're more Orwellian than Inquisition.
