All this lore about the void is confusing as fuck.

It's supposed to be. The void, the absence of anything, is naturally chaotic.

It's not that, really. You have two conflicting sides of lore: Akroma's lore, and Rag's lore. Rag's lore mainly focuses on the void as a while while Akroma's focuses on the entities of the void.

Epic battle needs epic music.

pfft

Better stuff!

Bartimaeus is actually a pretty weak void entity. The entities' strength are determined by the number of 'horns' they have. Bartimaeus has 2, while the most powerful entity in the void has 10. The domain he's from, Lolgrammoth, only goes up to 3 horns.

... I don't think I was asked about this...

Shouldn't I have been asked about this?

Additionally, I still haven't gotten anything back on my sheet update... :(

Grr...that multiplying armor is a pain in the ass to beat, but with this little caveat:

Third: Assigning points requires a magic check of x, where x is the points to be allocated THIS TURN, no multiple rolls, all changes have to be done at once, and the expenditure of some sum of mana... this depends on just how much mana people tend to have. I'd say likely just 1 or 2 per point assigned, but this is GM's choice.

We're making progress. I think the 2 points of mana per point assign works out alright, as long as the effect wears off after a few turns, or something. Otherwise you'd be rolling in DR.

PN's song wins. It is now the official boss battle theme of The Wraith Lord Shade.

Also, Soon. Soon I will have Shade Statted and ready for the first of many battles.

IRIS used to acquire funds through donations from rich people.
Why did they donate?

And that's a lot of money.
For what, artificial limbs and luxury pets? Not all that much, especially not if it wants to avoid going bankrupt while funding expensive secure containment/research procedures. How do they pay for all of that? And that's not getting into their quasi-legal military-level stuff...

Shit, this is going to be one of those epic destructive battles, isn't it?
Not much to destroy in New York.

Epic battle needs epic music.
"Red Like Roses Pt II" would work well, too. Especially since Bartimaeus is grieving a lost loved one.

And then there's all the little grains that don't fit in either but that people crammed in anyways.

Too little, too late.

Well, there is the caveat of having a max points assigned of 20 right now, and I think it already decays at a rate of something like 1 pp/round, so I'm cool with all of that.

Also, random thought, PN you've passed up the perfect opportunity to make a 'Black Bart' joke on many occasions.

Could we have info on how Yuri's family gained and maintained it's influence, resources and whatnot?

Nope and considering the amount of sway they seemed to have, it would have to be one hell of a crime to have gotten and maintained that much influence.

I'd recommend a Gurren Lagann track but those aren't suitable. Except maybe this.

And I'm pretty sure I had a Persona boss battle somewhere...here we are.

Still wouldn't explain why they seemed to be in cahoots with the CIA.
