Just fancy slang. In a way I talk to myself on these boards, since electronic interaction isn't always the same as physically talking to people and I can never be sure you aren't all just figments of my subconscious while I type randomly to a page that really just says: 404; page not found.

Now that that's out of the way: I just mean a specific type of magic user based around making eye contact to initiate shenanigans.

Oh, I'm just thinking girl with low-level genius experiments on self/gets experimented on by magical/mysterious/governmental entities and has life expended and improved by bio-magi-tech system that attaches it to herself and becomes permanently part of her and also sortngives her 'superpowers'. Creating a BFG out of nothing? Yup. Self-constructing and dressing armor and/or clothing with disturbingly pseudo-angelic theme? All in a day's work. Creepy hints of possible sentience on the part of the biomagitech thing? Unfortunately.

That or a dude who picked up a magic talking sword that has insane powers (and never uses half of them, talking bullshit about 'character building' and 'true warriors') and bonds to him, making him the only living member of a templar order long since dead.

I have very little idea on how to make this character sheet thing work since it looks overwhelmingly complex and I would rather not take hours trying to balance everything out.

Not the character sheet itself so much as the typical RPG system with having to trawl through to find the stuff that fits my character and balance it out in terms of points. That's fun and all when I have hours to kill...less fun when I just want to play.

it's best to ignore the gurps nonsense. I only agreed to it because GWG literaly would not shut up about it, every single post he sang it's priases, and as a result it was on him to make every single character, as he quadrupled the complicatedness, and those who were familiar with the system used it to minmax into maximum broken-ness.
