With the blinds now opened, light from the outside illuminates a small portion of the room. Unfortunately, with the power out, there won't be a way to keep it cool later, and we all know what Cheesistani summers are like!

"I asked you several questions, kid. I would appreciate it if you answered them."

"I have no friends. I have a mother and a father. I do not have a lover. I have not made any enemies. I live at the Amnesty shelter. I just applied for a job today. I don't have any dreams I always thought that I would be living at my home village for the rest of my life. No I don't have any tattoos. Does that answer all your questions?"

[Lyeos]

At some point during this, Lilian appears to have located a notepad and is writing everything down.

When did that happen?

"Nope, I still need to know your blood type, favorite color, favorite animal, why you live at the Amnesty Shelter, whether or not you're communist scum, whether you can wiggle your ears or not, why you talk in such an odd manner, and your Western and Chinese Zodiac signs."

[Prophet]

"Why do need to know these things? And no i'm not a communist."

[Lyeos]

"I don't suppose I need to know them... Except for blood type, I need to know that one because I'm a vampire, obviously."

The sarcasm dripping from Lilian's voice is so thick, it might as well be leaving a layer of slime all over the floor.

"I'll answer some of those questions about myself, if it'll help! My blood type is O negative, my favorite color is dark purple, I'm rather fond of penguins, don't like dealing with communists, and can't wiggle my ears no matter how hard I try. Oh, and my signs are Libra and the Goat. Baa."

"I do need to know your age, though."

((I suppose, although it might as well not even have a government, given how insane things get. Though, she does hate living here, so that could be a factor.))

"Twenty three, eh? Well, stay there, I can't let somebody without friends that lives in an amnesty shelter go without one of these. I'll need to see some ID, though."

Looks like Xozan is gonna get something special. Hint: it involves liqueur.

"You know, if you'd be willing to do some shopping for me, I'd let you live here. No funny business, though."

[Prophet]

"Sure i'll do some shopping for you. You won't have to worry about that. The other reason that I left was that the countries that my home region is located in don't umm support some of my personal preferences for umm things."

~Whilst the other stuff was happening~

Jack in his super-reverse-anti-backward-nega-hipsterism and collegiate status has an urge to fulfill his desperate *NEED* for coffee and death metal.

Jack: So... do you guys have any coffee?

Shopkeeper: Nope. Daily apocalypses make it difficult to get shipments so we're low on a lot of things. Can I interest you in a toffee bar?

Jack: Sure, why not? * buys a toffed bar * * leaves the store with his groceries and unwraps the toffee, eating it slowly * * he gets on the bus and, thanks to a late night, falls asleep on the bus * * several stops later he awakens in an unfamiliar part of town * * disembarking with his groceries, he approaches a purported "coffee shop" that eminates blaring rock music. * * Sees the free coffee sign, his wallet weeps for joy and he enters into a New Nirvana. *

(( Yes and No, but mostly no. Since errors wiped out my lovely explanation, you'll have to wait until tommorrow-ish when I add the History of Cheesistan to the Wiki, along with a labeled map. Just start posting the locations of things relative to each other so I have an idea of were to put things on the Map of Microphonia. ( The Capital city of the Republic. )  ))

By this point, all the coffee is gone as well as Lilian's stash of whiskey, none of which was consumed by Xozan as he failed to produce an ID. The power is still out, so there is no music, more coffee can't be brewed, the owner still smells like she hasn't bathed in days - because she hasn't - and is now staring intently at an empty bottle.
