Jack: * frowns as the power goes out when he enters * "Hey! Is the offer for free coffee still good?"

((Curse you, now I still have coffee and alceyhol!))

"Lemme see some ID, all I have left is a single glass, and it has whiskey in it."

Lilian hands the now-empty bottle to Xozan, then holds out her hand for the newcomer's ID.

"Go get me some more of that, okay?"

[CaptainMcClellan]

Jack: * pulls out wallet with visa and foreign driving liscence, even though he doesn't have a car here * "That good? Drinking age's only 18 or is it 21 here too? Either way I should be good."

[Lyeos]

... Jack's wallet is halfheartedly tossed back to him, disappointment clearly showing on Lilian's face.

"I never get to yell at anyone anymore... Couldn't you have just pretended to be too young?"

Lilian hands Jack a glass filled with coffee mixed with whiskey, sweetened by a bit of sugar not to mention that it's necessary and with a layer of cream floating on the top.

"Anybody know what time it is?"

[Prophet]

((I'm just going to chose maroon.))

At that moment, the town clock struck 6:00 and the National Anthem began to play from the traffic posts. The small crowds in the streets in the morning simply carried on, ignoring the familiar noise.

A firefighter walked past outside, en route to the collapsed building. Presumably something had happened to their truck.

"I don't."  ((Sorry about the late response to your question.))

Jack: * catches wallet *
Jack: * looks at watch, watch died last night * "Nope, sorry."

And you could both comment on her smell. ))

((My character lived most of his life as a shepherd in a village. I don't think he would be bothered by your smell. CMC on the other hand should be bothered he is a collage student not a Kurdish ex-shepherd.))

Jack: "So hey, what smells?"

[Lyeos]

"... I haven't been able to bathe with all the disasters that keep happening, and now the power is out, and I'd like to be able to see any centipedes trying to creep into my bathroom. So, I smell. Thank you so very much for bringing it up."

Once again, the sarcasm is so thick one would have to go at it with an axe, and Jack is now receiving a death glare at about nuke/10 on the scale of death-glare rage.
