This game seems a bit more dependent on what everyone is doing.  I think it would be best if the bugs are ironed out before switching this game, lest our targets disappear into some buggy void.  If we really want to play bugged versions, I think there are already 3 succession worlds looking for people.

I want to tell you they were bad men, cephalo.  I want to tell you that with a better overseer the Fortress never would've gotten so bad someone would get offed in a pointless fisticuffs.
But the sad truth charlie?
It was inevitable.

Sorry sorry sorry - had a sudden internet outage for the past week - I'll download it right now.

The Adventures of Sam the Knife

Hey all you out there, I bet you're wondering how old Sam started his life of high adventure, aren't you?  Well, just settle your britches down and let me tell you how it all began...

Now, everyone has "Sam the Knife: Student of Life" on thier lips tonight: men, women, (even young pups like you over there), but it wasn't always that way.  I began my journeys as a nobody drifter, (what you might call an "Outsider") who first entered the Life seeking to help out the hamlet of Bridlecluster.  Seems a dingo woman and some outlaw was tearin up the place proper and none of the common folk had enough gumption to go take care of those varmints by theirselves!  Well, I talked to a few here and there and none of em even wanted to come with me, they were so scared, so I sneaked on out and went to have myself a look-see.

I had a power outage from some summer fires that ate my fortress turn, so I guess just skip mine altogether.  Sorry for the delay.

Well that was a short turn. I created a character called Donu Fruitypastime.

I walked off to a fortress and collected some meatshields companions and started to walk to Insightlulled to murder the heathen Cerol. Along the way I encountered a river this wasn't too much of an obstacle because I always put points into swimming at character creation but along the way I encountered hippos. I didn't think much of them at the start as they ran away from me on land but then I started swimming. It turns out that hippos are extremely dangerous in the water and I was left floating in the water.

Will upload save soon.

On the subject of playing with .40.x I personally think it would be a great idea because it is a huge improvement over .34.11. Perhaps a new thread could be created as a test?

I think we should just wait before making it 40.x, cause it's extreely unstable. I don't want to have to start over the adventurer twenty times just cause of crashes. I'll add a poll though, just to see people's thoughts.
