And Playergamer is not into others of his gender. At least that's what i think. I'm not going to make any assumptions.

Neither is CMC. He said as much, albeit in ruder terms. I was pushing him to go with a female character, though.

.... Literally nothing. Other than nagging CMC for no reason. But he's asleep.

It'll be up tomorrow, just woke up.

And Lunarik are not monogamous in any way. On top of that, Ril also has plenty of kids that are by Lunarik standards, near adult or adult.

If I really felt like being rude, I would say that, due to your apparent local time, tomorrow is in slightly under four hours for you.  :)

Watch CMC not get a sheet in until after we've started.

Fair enough. Kevak said the system should be up either tonight or tomorrow, right?

Also, I just realized... Assuming Ammilek only took one soul a month, which would be more reasonable than putting it off to every two months, she has turned slightly over 936 people into emotionless husks who no longer have the will to live. Or do anything, really. Me thinks I want this to drive her victims into suicide, simply because they cannot feel anything, and thus lack the motivation to live. Or do anything at all. Something along those lines.

Hooraaaaay! Murder. Sort of.

I'm just predicting who my character would most likely like.
... An aggresive, "soulsucking monstrosity"? Huh...
NOT SO! Where do you think I came from? One can function on brain and heart alone. Who needs willpower when you have fury and false bravado?

Also, you're mistaking souls for hearts. As simple as I can put it, souls are like the Super-ego, minds are the ego, and hearts are the id. It's entirely possible to do without your soul, so long as you don't mind being a mostly amoral narcissistic sociopath. Which happens... a lot on these forums. So. It's still possible to love without a soul, just not properly and not in a healthy manner. And that whole "I want my beloved to be happy" won't happen. If they want to be free it's "tough luck, you're mine". Now if she ate their hearts or possibly both then that'd be more like what you were saying.

Yeah, I was just pulling junk from nowhere, although, really, what's the harm in losing a soul, then, other than... Hmm... I know where they get to go, now. Anyways, if she ate their hearts, they'd be dead. Also, CMC... Can you really exist when you can't feel anything? At all? No matter what happens, or what you do? Situations will never seem bad, but they'll never seem good. You'll never want to make an effort to do anything, because it will never matter.

Anyways! Now I need a suitable fate for them for losing their souls. Thanks!

Yes you can. You would basically be a biological computer. Indifferent to the inputs you receive and unable/uncaring to distinguish the good from the evil. Essentially, a particularly wily person could use you as the ultimate killer. Much more likely though, you'd be left to do stuff like math and answer questions. After all, you're still perfectly to ask "Why?" to any command. And then respond to the explanation with "So? It makes no difference to me."

An example: "Eat something."

"Why?"

"Because if you don't, you'll die."

"So?"

So on and so forth. However, you'll put forth no resistance to being force-fed. And if you have your heart intact you'd be difficult to distinguish from what you were before. After all, you can still feel angry. There's just nothing stopping you from enacting vengeance. And if you still have your heart, you'll still be afraid to die, enough to motivate you to avoid death. That's not quite the same as the will to live, though very similar.

You're welcome.

You're welcome.

Oh, you're about to post your sheet?

I think you're thinking too far into this.
The heart is just an organ.
But, okay then.

Not talking about the blood-pump. You know very well what I'm talking about.

At anyrate. Here's a prelim sheet:

Name: Sam Viera ( Stupid name is stupid. >.< )
Age: Can legally drink and download porn.
Height: With or without heels?
Gender: Male
Species: Viera.
Sexual preferences: Female Viera, but he has basically widened that net to any sentient female who will give consent and still has working sex organs. ( So far none. )
Biography: Raised by a very stern, restrictive mother in a matriarchal society, he has NO SELF CONFIDENCE WHATEVER. He makes up with this by metric S***-tons of false bravado and jackassery. However, he is doomed to fail at picking up women and is too proud to pay. ( Besides, prostitutes "don't count". ) He is desperate to mate but he downplays every possible positive quality that would actually attract a mate. ( His intellect, good looks, sincerity, loyalty, combat ability, etc. ) He comes off as a dumb jock on a good day, and a pathetic, sniveling mess on bad days. He has a complex involving his huge rabbit ears because, as  a child, they provided a convenient handle for his mother to drag him by on his way to be punished for whatever stupid thing he was doing.

Having been sent to live with the males of Viera society when he was "no longer cute" ( technically the first time he tried to hump a female ) he has found the camp to be stupid and boring and longed for the days when he could actually go explore and do things. That day has at last come and he finds that once it actually comes down to it, he's scared and pathetic. ( Despite being fully competent in archery and having at least dabbling skills in healing magic. ) As with everything else, he refuses to look scared and bullied his travelling mate to the point where he dumped his obnoxious ass in the dead of night. Since then he has met a horned lizard with a similar quest of making a nuisance of himself at all the pubs and trying to get laid. ( Kj, that's you. )

They recently came across a scary ass something eating something else's soul. ( Ammilek. ) Kj's character (correctly) identified it as female and since then they've somehow formed a travelling party, defying all logic and reason completely.

I think this guy deserves some abuse, as odd as that sounds. Also...

Is this based on yourself? Minus the drinking? [Insert Drum Here]
