I think this summer I'll be able to restore my monthly recurrent donation. Must feed the toad god!

@Footjob, you can microwave most grains I've tried pretty easily through the microwave, even if they aren't packaged for it.

Quote from: Toady
In a fit of ambition, I had my character declare lordship over a village to a farmer in a cottage. I then graciously offered up my position as leader of the new entity to him, an honor which he accepted. Now unemployed, I asked to become one of his guards. He said I wasn't worthy enough yet, which I thought was sort of ungrateful. Unfortunately, I think he might try to stage an actual site takeover at some point, or move his new entity into a ruin. I wonder if the game has become odd. Eventually people will have to develop more sense about their life goals.

Oh god I'm loving this idea. If it wasn't already, this update makes it hands-down the greatest RPG ever. I've wanted to be able to do things like this in a computer game forever.

Only one quotation comes into my mind suddenly:

"We have long lain dormant, and the time to awaken has come.
After our long sleep, we are filled with great hunger.
Soon, now, we shall feed..."

I get no cookies. I had thought it had to do with vampires but I was wrong. On the other hand I also thought I had heard it  before and though I don't remember it specifically I have heard/played/seen the source.

The wheel of dwarves turns, and ages come and pass.

We have no need for a great hunt for the eye of the world next edition, for the Dragon of Bay12 has been reborn. The shadow has been rising here for ages. Toady is clearly a chaotic lord, and he wears a sword crown on his head as he walks a path of daggers. The storm of Dwarf Fortress has been gathering, and soon it shall be midnight at the Tower of Toady's House. There will be a new spring as the first DF world is generated, and with it there will be a memory of the light of 40d. Winter's heart cannot consume the heaven-fires of DF. The crossroads of time will be at a twilight as the greatest thing since bread sliced with a dream-knife arrives upon our small earth.

I am actually unsure whether I should play the new version just yet due to the mind numbing amount of bugs it will undoubtedly contain.

You must YOU MUST YOU MUST! You'd be helping the ALMIGHTY TOADY ONE CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE DWARF FORTRESS find any number of bugs there might be in the game.
