Ms. Fancy-glitter-fedora-spiderfriend-zombie responds to this by turning the volume on the radio up to 11, quite possibly causing buildings to collapse. Of course, being zombies, they don't have to worry about the volume.

"Yeah, we're here! We have ice cream!"

A man in a blue gown - no - robe, and pointy hat peeks out the back window of a broken down hovel. what with the commotion on the town, he is unsure if he heard a voice on a megaphone.

He narrows his eyes, and sees a man standing on the hill to the south, and with a shock, he recognizes him- "BLANKEY, WHAT IN THREE HELL'S NAME ARE YOU DOIN' BACK HERE?"

[~Neri]

A group of foxes crawl into the man's robe.

[Hubris Incalculable]

The man in the robe pulls out a stick and points it at the hem of his robe - "PAJJIR QUAREVNA!" he cries, and the foxes run yipping back out, their fur sparking with residual eletricity.

[Fniff]

Blankey writes down in his notebook two deffo residents ?? lots of spiders no bird swarms nearby shelling = okay, then turned on the megaphone again. "HEY GUYS IN THE TOWNSHIP OF oh, err.... REDEMPTION, CALIFORNIA MIGHT WANNA BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR SHRAPNEL COS I JUST FIRED A LOT OF SHELLS, JUST FYI!" There is a whistling sound coming from the south, closer and closer...

"YOU DID WHAT, YOU MAD BOY?"
cries the man, before running in the direction on the hill.

[Parsely]

An arm as thick as a tree trunk bursts through the wall of the town bank. Where's the- *grunt* *struggle* He gropes around until seizing upon the thin neck of a nearby security guard who was busy cowering. He tries to pull him into the hole.
_Hey! Where's the vault?!

[Lyeos]

The zombies, of course, run towards the hill as well, shouting something about this being a race! Fortunately for them, none of them are walkers! Unfortunately for them, they left their radio and ice cream behind - and that lovely fedora!

[~Neri]

The horde of foxes swarms towards the hill, several hitching a ride on the wizard.

[Fniff]

The security guard had one job before this whole mess made the whole world go to hell, and he would damned before he'd chicken out!

"Er, you'd have to ask the manager about that." Turns out, he was damned. Made sense.

Blankey leans back having a nice beer and having a swell time watching the explosions. He'd been told to do it, so he could safely ignore the crowd of spiders, foxes, and one wizardly friend below him. Today, Blankey's corruped and broken brain noted, was a good day.

[Parsely]

The bank manager was busy loading the shotgun he kept under his desk. Do you have any idea who you're stealing from?! You and your friends are dead!

[Hubris Incalculable]

Hugh (for such is the wizard's name) arrives at the top of the hill with relatively few injuries, and pushes Blankey over and puts his hand to the madman's throat.

"JAMES A. ALHAZARED, EXPLAIN YOURSELF!"

[Lyeos]

The group of zombies sends their leader, now fedora-less - as all zombies are known by their choice of headwear here - up to talk to Blankey!
"What the heck, man! You ruined my hat and our ice cream!

[~Neri]

The foxes swarm onto the hill and climb into everybody present's clothes.

[Fniff]

Blankey gasps, barely acknowledging the foxes. "Sorry guys, it's the new orders from up high, I'm just doing what they said! I warned you guys too! It's all I can do, else it's not a war!"
