A word of advice

When exploring the caves, and you know there are ant men,

AVOID THEM UNLESS YOU HAVE VERY EXPERIENCED MILITIA READY TO FIGHT.

Seriously.

A single ant man drone spearman took out my ENTIRE militia and various civilians.

Not that my militia was very big.

I think it probably just fought your dwarves long enough to become a spearmaster.
