Now I am curious what happened in those "couple of millennia". I guess people shouldn't expect everything to be the same.

Lets see, by my calculations, the pocket universe has now increased by 2^730000 times (presuming every year was 365, and 2 millennia have passed), which would make it, if it was one cubic meter to start, larger than our own universe hundreds of times over. Eep.
