I sincerely hope that we aren't at war with the demons or the animal people.
Either way, every loss means one more toll taken on the FBs.
We also lost a random implet who was on the stairwell on top of the FB who somehow lasted longer than some soldiers.

Good thing Ridid is still alive.
We also only have three surviving miners, with some random imp with the mining labor enabled.
Also this happened:

Snaznog has almost bled to death. I think he's the cause of ALL THESE CORPSES. He's touched very very few imps, but has drawn enough fire to be basically a walking corpse.

Fafire, who died after trying to push a crossbowimp to death.
Masru, who died fairly fast
Snaznog, whose blood is EVERYWHERE
and Utim, who is covered in various fractures and isn't really doing much anymore.

Sorry about my absence on this, all the combat and pathfinding takes a toll on the FPS, so I haven't left Spring yet.

It's fine, take as long as you need. I remember playing Demongate, where I got most of my projects done in spring because the lag was so bad.
