Should I up the damage on weapons to speed up combat?

No, it's a good pace already.

No, I don't want to die faster.

Sure, Ethereal needs to die!
- 5 (33.3%)
Yeah, It's a bit slow.
- 1 (6.7%)
No, you should make the effects have steeper penalties to quicken it; not artificially enhancing the damage.

((I've just realized that this seems to be my most popular game to date. And that means I need to plan things. Carp. I need to stop doing these things on a whim and add some proper plans.))

((Speaking of fixing Kevak's ear, I think nearly everyone has a first-aid/medic skill.))

((What if I lick your character Ethereal?))

I might bite your ears off...then I'd wake up from my rage and fix it!

((You're welcome, although this story does kinda seem like it would make a good backstory for the other one. At least a part of it.))

Yes they will! Everyone has a medical skill! Everyone!

Eh, three people have medical skill. I'm including waitlist on this. So you are wrong. I am right. Three out of 8 or 9 is practically everyone.

You're above me. Which reminds me, if it was a dice roll between me and Sinvara, why am I so far down the waitlist?

Because that's how I scrolled down. DON'T QUESTION ME! Positioning doesn't really matter, I'll be rolling to see who gets in. If you're skipped multiple times then you'll be getting a positive modifier to your roll.

(( Since I'm currently in the wait list, is it fine if I make changes to my character? Looking at my character again, I feel the urge to change some things. ))

((Yeah, go ahead. Nothing will be final about the characters until the first update in about 2 or 3 hours. Speaking of finalization, it would be useful if everyone (at least the active players) would update their character sheets/post with what they want their dialogue color to be.))

The tall man finally spoke up.

What should we do?
Right now? Surviving would be your best bet. You'll need food and water. A place to stay away from the weather. Medical stuff. There's a lot you folks will need.
The boy with the red eyes continued.
Where should we look? Can you offer us anything?
Straight to the point, eh? Some houses may still have stuff, though I'm sure most stores and what not have been looted already. Animals may be okay to hunt and eat, but I don't know for sure. I can let you stay here and rest for the night, give you a bit of food to get you on your way. Otherwise, you'll be on your own. Electricity and plumbing is still active, but I have no idea for how long it will be.
The feminine guy looked up from his computer and asked the final question.
Where should we go?
Precisely, I don't know. I've heard some mention that the east coast has got it all quarantined, that it's safe there. I don't believe it. Some say that the parasite doesn't fare well in the cold. Some say it doesn't in the heat. I'm not sure about those either. No one seems to know for sure, so it's up to you folks where to go. But that's enough talking for now. You're probably tired of my voice. Go do what you need to do, there's a couple unused bedrooms and some couches around so you can crash on those when you're ready.
The group chorused a thank you, and set about with their chosen tasks.
