"Hey steve." You speak into the air.
>Yes?
"Could you guys also make a hamburger out of this arm when they cut it off? I wanted to eat it just for the sake of tasting it."
>That is horrible and disgusting. It will no doubt set you apart and create fear in your team mates. So of course.

((Wouldn't hurt to try :P
...And they've got a M1919 there. Though they're surrounded. I don't recall any of us carrying a panzershrek.
Also I wrote 'drop' not in the way of "DROP AND SURRENDER" but rather 'put down in front of'. Because I've got a...Mortar, and no rifle or anything. Err, yeah. :-X))

"Just in time for the cavalry to swoop in..."

Stay hidden, sneak towards the Jeep until I can get a good shot angle on the soldier maintaining the big gun.

"Nora, what the hell are you doing? Those are Americans.
Thomas, keep your gun up.
"

Line up the machine gunner in my sights. If he moves, take the shot. If anyone shoots, then take the shot.

Thomas had been walking through the brush, following closely behind the others and feeling about as tense as a coiled spring. He'd nervously shifted his grip on the rifle a few times, his widened eyes sweeping the undergrowth through his glasses, and had just finished scratching at the side of his neck mid-stride when a car appeared seemingly out of nowhere.

He froze, stared, saw the colour of their uniforms and the shape of their helmets and realised, with a bolt of fear, that this was his first encounter with the enemy. Without daring to spare a glance for the others Thomas, his mind racing with adrenaline, takes a few quick steps forwards and raises rifle to shoulder, calling to the jeep in what (he hoped) was a stern, threatening voice.
"Halt," he cries to the jeep, taking a few careful steps with his gun still trained, "Surrender! Throw your weapons out on the ground!"

>Raise my rifle and take aim on the trio, begin moving carefully forward whilst telling them to surrender.
If any of them move to aim at me, swallow my nerves and shoot them. If shooting starts without me getting the chance to do so, dive to the ground, preferably in some sort of cover if possible. If nothing untoward happens, order them out of the jeep at gunpoint.
I don't speak English and none of them are likely to speak German, but I'm sure they'll get the gist of it.

"They're scouts and their job is the same as ours. We can gun them, sure, but the gunshots can be heard for more then kilometres away!"

I can't deploy my mortar in plain sight and I can only fight back with a pistol :V I mean, given their reaction I have no idea who they spotted and in what terrain we're in but they were surprised so they saw someone. All of us? I don't know. >.>))

Turn 4: Surrender!

The growling of idling engines, the wind's whistling and, carried by it, the characteristic noises produced by military activity somewhere a few hundred meters beyond the trees, are the only sounds that can be heard in the area both the squad and the enemy Jeep find themselves in. Tension and a taste of the battlefield's dangers are swiftly introduced to rookies of both sides as the scenario does not bid any of them good luck. You know this might be the ruin of your mission, possibly put in danger before having any chance to be of use to your comrades.

Tap fingers nervously while taking a second, much harder look around.
Take a look around, be ready to get moving if our infantrymen need some support.
Get on the MG.

Commander Hans tries his best to try and discern anything else aside from the whistling of the wind, headphones resting around his neck and ears exposed to cold air. (1+1+1+1) After several moments trying to determine what exactly the battlefield tells him, he finally manages to hear them - the sounds of military movement, possibly a scouting detachment just like his. There's also no sign of any more foes coming after the sole USA-produced vehicle. Reiner also takes his time to pop his head out and try a shot at assisting the commander's task. (5) Battlefield experience lends itself to something; he notices the sounds of enemy equipment being moved. According to his guess, it's an advanced scouting force, much like theirs, but apparently either slower or camping and likely to be better armed. Though he is unable to accurately estimate the force's composition, he's fairly sure there are at the very least two light tanks around judging by the noise of engines. Schultz prepares to fire the co-axial MG34 and consequently aiming the Puma's turret at the Jeep.

Long action
Stay hidden, sneak towards the Jeep until I can get a good shot angle on the soldier maintaining the big gun.
Line up the machine gunner in my sights. If he moves, take the shot. If anyone shoots, then take the shot.
Another long action

Nora tries to enact her plan of complicated gestures and talking to the enemy soldiers in a mix of her mother language and theirs. (1) It unfortunately does not work and their face seems to cloud over as they watch what seems to them an attempt at the old trick of "look, what is that in the sky?" (2) Wolfgang advances slowly in an attempt to close in whilst staying out of sight, but that soon fails as he's spotted by the Jeep's driver as the young man glances aside, causing the "mercenary" to stop dead in his tracks, assault rifle in hands. Heinkel wastes no time in raising his rifle and aiming straight at the gunner's head. (5) Staying perfectly still and focused in a way that makes clear he can spread the private's gray matter in the air but hasn't done so because the young man hasn't moved causes the machine gunner to think twice before swinging the mounted weapon at the group of German soldiers. Thomas also aims his gun at the enemies and tries to talk them into surrendering. (2) Unfortunately, they can't understand anything and he only sees confused, nervous faces.

...

The soldiers in the Jeep know they are in a delicate situation. Emerging from the path hidden amidst the trees, they found themselves with three soldiers coming from their right side, one from their left and - it was hard to avoid noticing - two armored cars waiting in the field ahead of them, cannons pointed at them in a silent promise of violence in case they didn't cooperate. The .30 Browning they had would probably make a number on the soldiers, but that required the gunner to swing the gun towards the soldiers, exposing his back either to the larger group with the hard-looking old man or the sneaky fellow carrying one of these rifles with the capacity to spray bullets very well. Driving back would submit them to fire from all sides for enough time to nearly ensure their death, and though it'd warn their comrades something was wrong, dying in a ball of fire or ventilated by several ronds wasn't a good future.

(4) Despite that, the driver and passenger still seem to have some fight in them but even that quickly dies out as they notice their gunner moving his hands away from the machine gun's grip very slowly whilst staring at the old man. Looking displeased but beaten, all the soldiers very slowly raise their hands, with the passenger staring daggers at the grenadiers closest to them. Meanwhile the driver is too busy keeping his eyes on the armored cars a few hundreds of meters away as if preparing to hit the gas if the Puma fires a shell.

"Hm. That's somewhat alarming."

Listen more! Try to overpower my morning sleepiness and attain True Awareness, like they taught me at the academy a couple of times before sticking a cap on me and promoting me to officer ranks.

"Hah! Told you they would listen. Insane, am I?" Nora chuckled as she saw the American's reactions. She gestured to get out of the vehicle, now with her sidearm raised and pointed at them, using said weapon to do the gesture.

Try to tell them we won't shoot given their surrender, but that they should disarm themselves as they step out.

"Does anyone here have a radio to inform the commander?" she returned speaking, to the other men.

Reiner's face paled mildly as he turned back towards the gunner, and spoke again,

"Yeah rookie sorry for moving you around so much, but I just realized we have a bit of the problem in the form of what sounds like two light tanks so I'm going to need you to change that HE shell to the PzGr. As for you commander, might I suggest you man the MG once he moves off since it'll be more effective than that MP-40 should we need small arms fire, but do not act like you're going to shoot the ones we got already. This day just keeps getting worse ..."

Watch the area for any more movement, and be ready to get moving.

"You see now, taking prisoners is easier when you're holding a weapon. Someone should escort these prisoners back to the commander."

Make the americans get out of the jeep, and make sure they are completely disarmed.
