Joe stands up quickly, pushing his chair back with a determined look on his face.  "One gold?  I'll do it!"

Kyle downs his drink before standing up.
"I'm in."

Hayden looks at her untouched drink and gets up. Looking over to Kyle, she thinks about saying something, but decides not to.

You were planning to have a 15 year old magical girl kill Witches by drinking them under the table!? It's original, at least.

((Damn. Our party face should have tried to bargain for more.))

"No worries, peasant. We'll kill the beast. Well, better lead the way, man."

Down what's left of my drink, tip the bartender, and follow behind the fancy guy, axe in hand.

Joe addresses Adrian: "So Mr. Noble, what's your interest in this job?  Don't you swim in pools of coin back at your palace?"  He chuckles lightly.

Ha! I'm the sixth son. When my father dies I'll be getting almost no inheritence, and my eldest brother and I don't always... behave cordially... to one another. No, I need to build up some coin before my noble father kicks it. Either that or marry into land, but the offers for a sixth son, he shudders dramatically, well, most trolls are prettier.
He grinned.
And it's Adrian or Sir Flymeheart, if you would, my good peasant.

"Alright, Adrian it is, then.  I suppose I should be glad that I don't have to worry about that kind of stuff: the life of a bar-hopper is indeed free of politics.  That is, other than negotiating how much you can put on your tab.  This is gonna buy us all a lot of drinks!"  He grins.
