"So really, you don't have any free choice? Huh. That old philosopher was right, turns out."

"Well, there are choices, but what happens after them has already been decided. And even if it seems like there are choices, there might not necessarily be. You don't have a thread, though. I'm surprised that you haven't asked about the archive, actually."

"Some big pile of books about everyone but me. So where is it, anyway?

"Heh. It would be so much simpler if it actually were a big pile of books. It is actually a fair bit more complicated than that. And it requires words in several different languages, some of them not meant for human ears, to describe. Still, don't you have a drake to kill?"

Well, this was an interesting and bizarre conversation, miss Lost, and somehow, I doubt this is the last time we'll ever met. I appreciate the lack of murderign me.

Kyle thinks for a moment before asking one last question.
"Do you have a proper name? Should we meet again I'd like to know."

"Hmm... Let's have a look... I can help you, if I feel so inclined. As for my name.... I can't rmemeber actually. Been alive for so long, that I don't even know what it is anymore. So, what reason would I have to help you? You don't show up, so you presumably would have some way of convincing me."

"It'd be the ultimate assassination. Of course, I don't know what you normally trade in so I don't think I can offer properly."

"Now, where's the fun in that? You'll have to guess what I want."

"It's one of the few choices you have, by all accounts. Call it a good deed or just utilising this choice.

What do you want... must have seen a lot of things if what you say is true. Mightbe interesting watchign something where you have no idea what will happen. It's omething that hasn't had the ending already written."

"Yes... that does seem like a good idea. It will be interesting, not knowing what happens next, actually. Fine then, I'll go with you. Lead the way, oh glorious leader."
