Cara moves all the way to where Matt is when he moves; she transforms back to human form.

Many say music is the kindling of the soul. Fatigue falls away and vigor is renewed.

Cara gave Orpheus a friendly nudge and a note of thanks--given that she wasn't one for words--along with giving Sir Kahn the same gesture. She liked the two, despite only knowing the former out of the whole lot of them during the whole trip.

Changing back to human form, she glanced around and noted how many bodies of the disabled, wounded (and probably now-deceased) lay about. She kept a stoic face while feeling deep sorrow inside her.

Before the strange, turban'd knight rushed off to thwart the enemies ahead, Cara wondered how he handled his weapon--she was trying to understand the many ways one can use a spear despite one end being sharp and the other flat.

"Ungh - bastard!" Nynaeve yells, covering her wound with one hand, and rushing towards the downed shaman. "Up! Up! There's - ouch - no time to rest!"


Nyn to 14,21, forcefully drag Matthew to his feet, then retreat to 13,24

"Thanks Orpheus, feel right as rain again!" Isteus cracked his knuckles audibly as he felt his wounds knit and his energy return, ready to get back in the fight. "I'll take whatever you got if it'll put me in the brawl, more hands on our side the faster we'll get you going where you need to be."

The hawk saw the fight past the forest thanks to his height advantage, particularly the wounded healer needing to pull back. Things won't go well if their healer keeps taking hits like that. Isteus winged it over to 12,24 and used a Vuln on Nyneave, winging it then to 11,24 to gain some distance from the archers.

"A little pick-me-up, should keep you on your feet." Isteus explained, although he kept his eyes on the battle and tightened a fist. Just a bit longer... Just a bit longer.

The head proves to be an impossible target for Kahn to hit. The Fencer dodges the wild hit easily. The fencer aims for Kahn's head in return, but he too completely misses. Both warriors may now feel great shame at their failings.
