Propman checks his sachel, shifting through its many pockets before reaching for a medium-sized sketchbook and drawing out the scene in front of him. It later dawned on him that he could have possibly used out pages from this book instead of the former for the earlier challenge he encountered, yet its thick, board-like pages probably wouldn't have been suitable, or so he told himself.

I could take out that knight right away, but eating these fellows' turn in the face of a vulnerability wouldn't be too endearing.

Propman pointed to Bowtie with his staff-spear.

"I'd say he has the initiative!"

"Crap. I can't go anywhere useful without putting myself at risk," HugoLuman said. "Arc needs to do something about that Bishop. Would you be at risk from that pawn if you did that?"

[SOLDIER First]

"I can't hit the bishop; I'm not in line with him."

Arcvasti walks over to the bishop, careful only to tread diagonally. Somewhat hesitantly, he whacks the pawn. It dissolves into more sand.

**These lesser statues don't seem very resilient. They dissipate with a tap.**
The nearest pawn moves closer and menaces Arcvasti with its short stone blade.
