**Well. This appears to be a wall. I don't really think there's anything else to say on the matter.**

Arcvasti follows Kyle and the duck.

Kyle jogs up to the gates.

Arcvasti walks up to the gate and raps on it with his scepter.

**Hello? Other players? We request sanctuary. The wolf is one of our own. Do not harm him.

The gate slides open, revealing a woman in thick leather armor. She holds what looks like a battered shotgun, and a leather helm covers her face. "Who the hell-" She sees the devices on Arc and Kyle's wrists. "Oh... hmm." She looks to the left, where the rest of the party are approaching along the wall, then looks back at the other too. "Oh dear oh dear... well, at least you're not NPCs."

She raises the shotgun slightly, not pointing it, but communicating that it could easily become pointed, and likely fired, at a moment's notice. "But I can't let you in yet. Answer me some questions. Where did you get that scepter?"

Kyle idly pets the duck wondering how fast he'd need to be to render the woman incapable of firing the shotgun.

"And you. Where'd you get that duck?"

"The river."

[WillowLuman]

"We've got a few of those. Which direction?"

Kyle points towards where they came from.

She concentrates for a moment, as if trying to remember something. "Hmm, don't know of any reason a duck from that area would be dangerous. So the duck's clear. Still need an answer on that scepter, though. And what's keeping the werewolf pacified?"

"He's a player and when he transformed we were in an area that overloaded his senses.  The Ranger class's animal empathy might have helped him remain stable as well.  Scepter is loot from one of the rooms of where we started in.  Belonged to a Black King chess piece."

[Arcvasti]

She concentrates for a moment, as if trying to remember something. "Still need an answer on that scepter, though."]

**What she said. And you wouldn't deprive a poor man of his walking stick, now would you?**

Arcvasti grins.

**Seriously though, I need this to walk. I'm a healer, but I take their wounds upon myself. And SOMEONE stepped on a silver hook. I don't think its magical at all. I just thought I looked cool. I was right.**

[SOLDIER First]

SB examines the woman's shotgun and then looks back at his own rifle, frowning slightly.

[WillowLuman]

"We may have to have someone examine that scepter, but I suppose you can bring it in for now. However..." She points the shotgun at HugoLuman, who flinches. "Hmm. He does seem somewhat in control of his faculties. Most wouldn't remember what a gun does so fast. I'm still not sure I can let him in, though. How long has he been like this?"
