((Nothing, kj and sjm's characters mentioned being dead towards the beginning, it's just something Collete wants to know, since she was tracking the guy that had something of her family's. If it's been centuries, there's no guarantee that she'll even be able to find a lead.))

Subject thinks "We may not of been. I don't remember hitting the ground before waking up in that chamber. It possible that we were whisked away before the point of death. Kyle may of disappeared before the axe landed and merely thought his neck hurt via mind.

I don't know how the two of you 'died', but unless you were delimbed before 'death', we don't know if we ever truly been dead."

"Actually I clearly remember the 'snik' of the axe going through my neck. Also, don't get executed, it's a real pain in the neck."

Collete takes a moment to consider this, then scribbles in the dirt again 'Odds too low. Could have done so before then.'

Subject nods "Alright, assuming we died, the next thing to check is, are these actually ours bodies?"

Kyle looks in his pants before nodding.

[Lyeos]

'Does it matter?' Collete washes the dirt from her fingertips with saliva, then stands and gestures towards the town with her staff.

Kyle looks in his pants before nodding.

"And how do you know? Look at me. Before my tests that gave me these-" she points at her eyes "-this body was a perfect copy of Subject-13 who was also a copy of some young woman who I will never meet who would count as my 'grandfather' if you view fathers as the giver of DNA. Same height, same weight, only the mind didn't match. Since no one said anything, these are either good copies or the bodies you were born with.

'Does it matter?' Collete washes the dirt from her fingertips with saliva, then stands and gestures towards the town with her staff.

That said, DNA decay and thus it would be harder to made a good copy. Same with ours bodies decaying. Thus we must guess at a shorter time span, maybe two years at most."

Orchea blinks at Subject, before looking to the others.

'Does anyone else have a clue what she's on about?'

Start walking towards town.

"Nope. Which means I'm walking with you."
Kyle says walking beside Orchea.

Collete motions for subject to follow and walks with the others.

Orchea turns to Collete as she walks.

'So why does it matter so much to you? Is this your home?'

[Lyeos]

Collete responds with a curt shake of her head and a small gesture that vaguely indicates that she would rather not speak until they made it to the town.

This is met by yet another raised eyebrow, but Orchea continues on in silence.
