Magic has shown its face around these parts. How do you feel about it?

It's not reasonable! Quit messing around with the laws of reality!

Meh, who cares? Reasonable people work with what they're given.

Most excellent. It would be reasonable for everyone to have some abilities.

Satisfied, I let my mind wander, choosing just the right words for my report.

Did you not listen? I'm stuck in a dead-end job. There is no hope of promotion, only a lifetime of disappointment, probably depression, then the realization that I should quit. Do these things now so there's hope for the future.

Begin doing what I normally do...mergers and acquisitions....
[20]

You do everything. Everyone in the office is now extremely bored and angry at you for doing their jobs. You, yourself are feeling very stressed and exhausted from the burst. In the meantime, the government is seeking people with strange powers, and you have got their attention.

Grab a fire extenguisher and let the fires have it!
[[14]

You put out most of the fire. The office is quite scorched and covered in extinguishing powder. Your boss has heavy burns and is begging for help.

"You bastard!"
Use teleport spell to get to my arcane books. Capture them.
[10]

You can't cast spells without a spellbook. However, one of your neighbours calls you and complains about a bunch of living books eating his cat. You head over to his house. The leading book is held under a laundry basket.

Satisfied, I let my mind wander, choosing just the right words for my report.
[16]

You write in all honesty that very little work is getting done, and send it to your boss. He replies that it's your job to keep them productive. You need to do your job or get sacked.

Did you not listen? I'm stuck in a dead-end job. There is no hope of promotion, only a lifetime of disappointment, probably depression, then the realization that I should quit. Do these things now so there's hope for the future.
[3]

You quit, just before a visitor comes and tells that the company has fused with a larger one, and everyone gets promotions to the highrises. Ouch.

Drive to work, avoiding all of the military helicopters flying about.
[9]

Your drive to work uneventfully, though while parking you notice your fuel is low. You'll need to refuel later.

PUNCH OF UNREASONABILITY
[1]

You try to punch a heavily armed, extensively trained, and very violent soldier. Connect the dots. You are dead. Respawn?

Give people an inspirational speech about slavery at the workplace and inhuman megacorporations.

Go buy some chocolate milk.
[5]

You walk to the grocery store, but it appears to have burned down after a helicopter crashed into it.

Take my books. Apologise to my neighbour.
[16]

He tells you to keep this from happening ever again, this was the second cat of his eaten by arcane books. You take your books and go home.

Wake up[More vigorously this time]. Then have some tasty natural arsenic flavoured toast.
[4]

You can guess how that went. You need immediate medical attention.

Try to remember where the nearest gas station is.
[12]

You work in it. You're here already. Maybe you can ask the owner for some freebie fuel after work, if you work hard?

Give people an inspirational speech about slavery at the workplace and inhuman megacorporations.
[1]

Just as your speech is about to reach its main point, a black bag is pulled over your head. You can feel you are escorted out of the building and into the trunk of a car.

Wake up.  Get out of bed.  Run a comb across my head.
[9]

Morning routine. You can't quite get your hair exactly as you want to, but it's pretty good.

Pull the monitor off my neck and put on my spare head.
[6]

You start ripping your own monitor.head off, but it hurts like carp and feels terrible. You think the monitor is there to stay.

Tend to his severe wounds, then take his wallet and leave the building.
[14]

You fix him up quite well and grab his wallet when he's not looking. As you look inside, you find his driving license, a credit card and $60 in cash.

Turn my self into the government, hopefully they are reasonable
[19]

You turn yourself in. You're taken to a huge, heavily guarded lab in the wilderness. As you're escorted inside, you can hear someone screaming in pain in the distance.

Pretend to die on the way to the hospital and secretly get picked up by unscrupulous private health care so I can fake my death.
