A thin layer of dust covers the room. It seems it has been fairly undisturbed for some time, though perhaps less than the dirty white pieces of a skeleton lying on the floor would suggest. An ominous start to the journey. On the left-hand side of the room, there is a table with a stool, and a lockbox next to it, which has been long ago emptied. Two doors on the right lead out of the room, as well as a doorway to the north that appears to have been kicked down, judging by the door lying on the ground. The other one is missing. You can see out into the hallway.
(TIP: By default, you can move 6 meters, jog 12 meters, and run 20 meters. Moving to an adjacent square is 2 meters, moving diagonally is 3.)
(TIP: Player pets are not directly controllable. They must be influenced with Animal Handler rolls or leashed to keep them nearby.)

Go and inspect the lockbox and table for hidden compartments/edibility.

'Bones this early...... not a good sign.'

Examine the door on the right. See if there're any cracks/keyhole to look through.

'There're bones and nothing's trying to eat us. Just..... stay clear of them, 'kay?'

But it might be interesting to look at!

Aaron paused...

'Now, I'm not best known for my decision making, but you don't look to me like the kind that can take a blade to the face, so it may be best for you to avoid mysterious piles of bones. So bear in mind, I don't have a bloody clue how to use a needle.'

Weeell there isn't a blade there, nor is the skeleton intact.

He sighed.

'Y'ever heard of traps, kid? But as I say, feel free to go for it. Ain't my head.'

Which kind of trap are you talking about, cause theres the the bladed and crushing and poisoned and magic traps, and then theres the traps that are people that look like girls till someone gets them in bed, then at that point the person doesn't much care cause... You know.

Aaron raised an eyebrow, before continuing to the door - skirting around the bones.

'The kind that would leave a pile of bones in the middle of the floor.'

Oh I has an idea!

Nira walks over to the desk, grabs the stool, and tosses it into the pile of bones.

[Parsely]

Phagan walks out of the room to avoid the inevitable explosion.

[Squeegy]

Turn 1

Sandy rolls Animal Handler to try and keep Mrs. Batman near him. (9) His cooing and clucking noises attract the cat to him. It rubs against his leg and stays by his side for now.

He jogs over to the table and rolls Visual Acuity to check for items. (9) He comes up empty-handed.

Aaron jogs to the door and inspects it. It is made of solid oak. The handle does not have a lock.

Nira rolls Visual Acuity to scan the room for anything out of the ordinary. (12) Everything looks straightforward. He then walks towards the desk.

Phagan jogs out of the room.
