Oh, I thought I had to choose between dodging and taking the hit. My bad. Just plain dodge.

James tries to dodge the warrior's strike. The warrior rolls a 3. James rolls a 3. Tie goes to the defender, so the undead warrior's strike misses.

Joro moves 2 meters northwest and attacks the Undead Warrior, rolling a 5. The warrior rolls a 3 to dodge. Joro's strike hits him in the waist, dealing 3 damage. The Undead Warrior begins bleeding 1 HP/turn from the wound.

It depends -- dodge roll is more likely to succeed, but if you roll into a blocked square, you get hit anyway. It's more effective in open areas, basically.

Jason puts on the Shoes and leaves the Peasant Dress in his inventory.

Yes, provided you make the roll, otherwise it has a chance of hitting her.
