Bio:I have also been instructed to provide you with a rudimentary knowledge regarded Aetherworld 4, which will be presently dispensed.
Aetherworld 4 was discovered by transdimensional explorers several years ago. The sheer brutality of it led to its establishment as a penal colony. However, all colonists sent have perished within several days. The world is strange, and fluctuations in not only its weather but its natural laws happen regularly. Items warp in and out, most often with the ending of a life -- leading to several suggestions to establish the colony as a death camp. Because the total life expectancy is approximately one week, the Crown has decided to grant you a basic item to give you a fighting chance at survival. Best of luck.
Attributes are Strength (STR), Dexterity (DEX), and IQ. Most skills are keyed off of an attribute (Dodge/DEX, Endurance/STR, Charisma/IQ). Not all skills are keyed off an attribute (such as Luck). Many skills are a flat “roll” advantage (+1 Swords skill gives +1 with Swords), but not all are (+1 Fencing allows you to key 1 IQ to hit instead of DEX). To level up skills, you must LEARN (through books/teachers) or PERFORM (by doing it) them. Positive performances (good rolls) tend to level them up faster. A hidden XP tally will be kept of each character’s skills, to determine when they will level up. New skills may be FOUND (through books), GAINED (by doing an action associated with that skill repetitively), or CREATED (usually by PMing me and putting several turns into trying to develop it). For starting skills, pick any basic skill (agility, reflex, endurance, fortitude, luck, etc.), or PM me and ask for one specifically.
As seen in the character sheet I have asked you to make, you will need to choose a RACE. Races grant bonuses/negatives to stats, specific bonuses (Humans gain skills faster), and boosts to certain skills or skill groups. You may choose ANY race you would like, and I will create it. If you are unhappy with how I built your race, PM me to change it before you are put into the game/within the first couple of turns.
Each player must also pick a CHARACTERISTIC. Each character has one and only one, but each may be picked several times by different characters. They grant specific bonuses to the character. If you wish to have a custom characteristic, PM me with your idea.

Souleater: Devour the souls of defeated enemies to get half the XP of their skills.
Into the Wild!: +1 to all stats, learn skills faster, cannot own stuff. May have a weapon.
Average Joe: Working class hero. Cannot get negative attributes from initial rolls, but you have a lower chance to get improved attributes.
Russian: Vodka-fueled machine. Get bonuses on rolls if you have alcohol in your system.
Immortal: You cannot die. (However, you CAN get chopped up into a million little pieces. Gross.)

Somehow, though, a technician made a serious error in Mop's assembly, and in its 8th year of service it developed self-awareness. It, however, grants double the effect if the lone target is unarmed, and/or double the effect if in darkness (if it doubles twice, it goes to 3x). The Fear Aura may also be used against a group of armed targets during darkness, but it is easier to resist. Bleed may only be used against those struck by a dagger wielded by the Ripper. Brutalize allows the Ripper to strike multiple times on a successful Bleed. Bleed is more effective if the target is affected by the Ripper's fear aura.

He begun to develop a taste for power and jumped through several period in time turning himself back into a baby through time shenanigans and ruled many organizations on the planet. He was almost always cruel in his rule despite his efficiency, and often had to fake his death and ditch the timeline when things get too hairy. After jumping around in time his last run was as a slaver , and was later exiled to an island. He orchestrated his fake death and left the timeline when he was taken in by the Time Police who had by pure chance stumbled on him in their patrol in hyperspace. After a lengthy trial they decided to send him over to the Aetherworld 4. He would not have known that in his final life he was heralded as a hero who found a new continent.
