Anyway, if you're going with monk, I'd suggest a race that gets -minor- wisdom or strength adjustments. Maybe some sort of elf modification.

Well, I was writing a post asking about rules, but it got lost when I had to stop to freak out about Remuthra being OP.

Either way, LA is short for Level Advancement, which lets you balance powerful races. Typically, only tier 5 and 6 are allowed to ignore LA for the levels that you take them. So a Gnoll could start as a third level fighter, since they have two racial Hit Dice and one LA.
Also, a Pixie would only get the stat bonuses at level up if they take a tier 5/6 class, I assume?

Next, there is a rule from Races of the Wild that lets you play as a Half-Breed. Is it acceptable?

Since psionics are on the Hypertext, I feel comfortable taking one of those classes, specifically Psionic Warrior.

After tossing around the idea of being a symbiotic creature with a WIS caster, I've decided to be a Half-Ogre Monk, with a Djinni bloodline.

Before I continue with my building, I have to know one thing Tawarochir. If the answer is yes, I won't have anymore than MAYBE three questions, I promise.

Could I take Vow of Poverty? I will freely admit, it gives you HUGE bonuses, BUT you are not allowed to use magic items in ANYWAY, and are sworn to give away your money. All you are allowed is a set of clothes, a bag (non-magical), and a quarterstaff.
Either way, I can't take it until level two, but I don't want to take the prerequisite feat without a clear build strategy.

If the answer is yes, the only powergaming I will do is taking templates at every level. But monks can do that, cause they suck. Seriously. Most times, I'd rather play an Expert, and make alchemical items.
