TP is team points. It's needed to improve the team/guild.

Yep! TP is gained from partying up with team members and clearing missions, and doing team quests. You can only get so much a week frm team quests.

Reminder, Team quests reset every day! The more TP we have the faster that tree will move.

More news aout the photon tree, we can upgrae it with mass amounts of TP. GIven the rest of the options are aesthetic, we'll be focusing on that first.

What photon tree upgrade would you folks like first?

Attack up
defense up
Exp up
Meseta up
rare drop up
"photon occurance rate" up
"photon occurance duration" up

Post in the thread!

Gotta agree, Rare Drop sounds nice.
So, is this like, a physical tree? Or a skill tree?

It is a literal tree! You can see it in the team room, it's very tiny right now.

Our good computer won't connect to the servers. It keeps listing them as Unknown status. Anyone know what's causing this?

Haven't quite figured attribute grinding out yet. For example here
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
I'm trying to attgrind my vastall using the guncissor above. The guncissor and the other two below are all the same quality (4 star) as the vastall but no dice. What am I missing here?

The weapons need to be the same type. Like, you need gunblades to hump and grind gunblades.

Since the dex matter eludes me I thought I'd do some research and do some maths on how useful it is exactlty.

If this source is correct and I didn't make an error, in any particular attack the max dexterity you'll benefit from (ensuring a 90-100 interval) should be this
dex = 0.08 ( 0.1 ( def - atk ) + batk ) + ddex
Where dex is attacker's dex, ddex defenders dex, def defenders defense for the dmg type, atk attackers attack for that damage type and batk the base damage on the weapon being used.

Going to double check this as I was in a hurry. Will also edit in some attack vs dex comparison when I get around it.

Edit: Assuming every damage value in the range has the same odds, I take avgdmg as the average of max and min dmg.
d(avgdmg)/ddex / d(avgdmg)/datk = 1.
Wait what they scale precisely the same so long as dex doesn't hit the cap? Huh, I wonder if I made a mistake.

P.S. Does anyone know if the crit chance boosts from talents are percentages or flat modifiers? An extra 20% sounds to good  to be true so I'm guessing I'm looking at 0.2%. Worst case scenario that's an overall damage boost of 1.0002, best case 1.0016, assuming it's the latter.

First of all, many thanks to Seriyu for making this topic. Was a fan of PSO from the dreamcast days to the PSU days, but had never even heard of PSO2. The fact that it's a PC F2P is quite nice, too. Now on to my question...

3: Extension - You can spend rare materials to craft your weapon higher, using the 'crafting' system.  It's best to get started on this as soon as you start playing, because you have freely available 'daily crafts' that consume no resources, but reward you with resources, crafting skill experience, and other rare items related to crafting.  You WILL need this later.

Where does one find these free 'daily crafts'? I've done a little bit of puttering about the craft menu but haven't been able to do any crafting due to lacking the various rare resources.

Finally got around to downloading this. Seems everything is working so far, hopefully I'll be able to log in soon...

Is Braver the only class that uses a bow? Or is "bullet bow" just a term for another kind of gun? I always, always go archer in mmos, and I'd like to know beforehand.

EDIT - Welp, every time I try to run the game through the Tweaker it sends me to a GameGuard page saying "you should reinstall the game." Like heck that's going to happen. Anyone know what my problem is?

For daily crafts, go to your room. In your room, the console on the left, 4th option is crafting. Select that and then the 3rd option is daily craft. There's a list of requests there and it simply uses your craft slot. Simply wait for the cooldown and do it again.

Bullet bow is a type of range weapon. Range weapons are assault rifles(ranger/gunner), launcher(ranger), dual sub-machineguns(gunner) and bulletbow(braver).

You can reach your room by the 'block change elevator' that's on the far left or far right of the quest counters, with large green up and down arrows (among other locations in the shopping district).  Or by hitting 'escape' and navigating to the 'quick menu'.
