With hive mind we are allow to have suicidal scout right
let send in a hundred soldier to just zerg their fortification and gather as much visual info as we possibly can
This can certainly be incorporated into the initial plan.

True but 30 soldiers to 5 of theirs is quite the inconvenient scenario. Especially since there were survivors and there grouped up now. We need to find out more and for that we NEED more bodies and technology through night raids against there patrols.
Definitely we can break through their camps and cause as much death as possible. Bringing back some bodies where possible.
the piority should be they weaponary and or any equipment we can get our hand on. Our queen Queens want to absorb them

I guess your right the Xionic Technology in question should be brought back so our Queens/workers can understand them. Hopefully we can level the field..
The good news is according to the hub choice while they have a higher tech level their entire population is the same as just our soldiers.
I think we also need some alive specimens, but it would be too risky to take them to any one of the main hives, perhaps we could create some smaller, unconnected hives to take them to?

We could Executive but i believe we should have our workers get started on the "prison colony" before we attempt to capture live specimens.

Right, maybe Rushing the fortifications right now would be too risky, I think preparation would be better than any kind of offence right now.

first, let's dig out a prison for any captives we take, knowing about these creatures is a incredible asset and having them alive could let us 'experiment' on them, then send about 50 soldiers in small groups at night to try and nab one of the creatures.

I want to know how many soldier we have near the xenos right now as i belive our colony is scatter across the planet and some might need time to arrive

So, while we have more people, we don't have enough.
Which is exactly why we should capture a few of them, we can figure out their weaknesses and such, and we could do that by using about 50 soldiers split into 10 groups under the cover of night, we might even be able to control them.

Attacking an enemy fortified position will cause losses. Then again, we should be able to replace them.

However, I think there's one thing we should use to our advantage. We know about the terrain, and we have a lot of dumb manpower.
The intruders landed in an area with no natural caves (and no hives), but which apparently maintains forests and stuff.

Most likely, they landed in a relatively flat area (I mean, you need place to land stuff) with acces to a water source (doubt they're going to be stupid enough to forget that). So, I think I can quite safely assume they landed in a river valley. Our plan, therefore, is to flush them out.

Workers are to begin construction on 2 improvised dams immediatly. One a descent distance downriver, the other a descent distance upriver. When finished, we demolish the upper dam, and the water will quickly rise, destroying their defenses.

Take care not to flood ourselves out.

Also our population is easily replaceable i dont belive that lost is as easily replace able by our enermy we should take advantage of this also not only taking account of the ratio


Also i dont think we are suppose to be doing math :P

I dont think we should make any complicated plan the xeno are settling in right now we should do frontal assult and try cause unstabily in the popultaion
Also i think construction of forward out post should be worker piority as trekking a few day is not a good option

well mostly it rp reason because according to current sit we dont know how much people thy got or how capable they are if the simplest approach will solve te problem why would we need to plan complicated thing


Also the replacable force still stand and we also need info on them as far as we know if we can get close to them they are fragile and easily eliminate so by approching in big number we will allow more to reach the line and tear them down so it not an illogical approach

As simple approach won't solve this. Anyway, they're not going to consider this as a one of attack from local wildlife, so we shouldn't deliberatly hamper ourselves either.

We ambushed them, 200 versus 10, and we lost 30 versus 5. We know this. Also, from our viewpoint as a hive based creature, it's logical that the Queen's nest* will be protected much heavier. Therefore, we can assume that a direct assault will not work.

As such, we must use an alternate method. As all our hives are underground, it's logical that we assume theirs to be as well. As such, causing a flood to kill them is a logical thing.


*There isn't any, but we don't know that. But anyway, almost all creatures protect their nests.

I think we shouldnt make blind decision we should try get info so eithier scout or suicidal scout/assult.

It isn't exactly meta though. I mean, we can count, and should have had that information.

I think we should send 10 groups of 10 soldiers to scout where the Xenos have landed, and identify any defenses, and the amount of their troops. I think we can all agree that scouting would help, especially if we decide to attack now. Perhaps we could also find out what their intentions are. I also second trying to capture one of them.
