I might make a list of my favorites from this gmae at some point.

Probably not though.

I noticed that a lot of the items follow the format: Has Use A, but Use A doesn't work
It's a lighter but it has no gas!
It's a pocket, but it has no space!
It's a gun but it's bullets don't hurt anything!
It's a book, but you can't read it!

It would be incredibly useful, but it has been specifically nerfed to remove it's useability.

I prefer the "why in the world would anyone thing this thing might have been useful?" kind.
And the "that's a really weird/funny item. I could see a use for it, but damn, would you look silly with it."
Like Elizabeth from Gintama.

Ok then-- "why would anyone make this?" type item.

Practical joke formalwear.

This full suit of enchanted clothing looks like fine formalwear. Because it is.
It has however, been enchanted to alter how other people perceive it, such that anyone other than the person who has put it on sees it as the most inappropriate thing imaginable to wear to a formal event.  The person wearing it still perceives it as it actually is-- completely appropriate formal wear.

The effect only triggers while it is being actively worn.

Does this scroll also transmute the size of the resulting toe shaped tuber? Also, is the effective kind of "toe" up to the caster to decide? (EG, "I transform this tiny 2 ounce new potato into a 500kg epic elder beast "potatoe", after throwing it at the evil mordak!"-- type scenario.)

I dont know, you get one chance to cast it.  Better hope it works that way or it will be... useless.

On a more constructive level, I did create a more restrictive version of the item, but it seems like cheating if you deliberately remove every possible use by making a ton of exceptions and restrictions.

The spelling difference is deliberate to be a joke.

Cursed Ring of Attention: This Hood attracts the attention of everyone near you... friend and foe alike. Once worn it cannot be taken off.

Is it a ring or a hood?

Its the crazy, silly and flavorful items that makes things so fun :P

Rotting Bloodstone - This gem appears to be an ordinary semi-precious bloodstone but when held in the inventory of any adventurers begins to emit a horrid stench of rotten flesh and blood. It attracts flies and other annoyances but only continues emitting the stench while in a backpack, pocket, someones place of residence or in someones hand.

Bowtie of Utterance - This piece of neckwear, which can appear as some any other form of neckwear, looks stylish. But when worn, when the wearer speaks they can't help but use an excessive amount of Ummm's, Errr's and other such similar extras.

Cowskin Pants(cursed) - These pants when worn will cause you to have pretty bad (not to mention loud) flatulence that occurs often and often at the most inappropriate and inopportune times, such as sneaking up on someone, entering a tavern or meeting with the local lord/guildmaster/some other important person...

Ring of Elixirial Thirst: When worn, the wearer will always drink twice the amount of potions at once, with no regard if the first potion heals the drinker completely or not.

This potion  is dispersed as an arousal, and attracts bugs.

Could be incredibly useful in some scenarios, like if you needed some extra protein on the cheap or had insect related superpowers but no summoning abilities, wanted to complete a butterfly collection, etc.

Diamond Ring It's a big, gaudy ring. It has Neil Diamond's face on it. It occasionally sings Neil Diamond songs.

Sure, but it's still silly.

That's actually a fair point. Who says magic is limited to medieval settings? I hereby rule this artefact a "Useful, non-silly magitech device."

It detects lasers, not laser producing devices.
Still may have some uses, but I rescind my declaration.

Assuming lasers are even a little bit rare. Otherwise you're going to be fixated on the first mate's cat-toy for a long while.
