Plant of Memories
Every creature who walks past this plant has one of their memories switched with a memory of another creature what walked past this plant. This will repeat each time the creature walks past. So if you walked past the plant, got a swap, and walk past it again, you’d get another memory swap. The affect also happens for creatures touching the plant too. No one remembers what the plant looks like, because that’s usually the first memory to be swapped away for another memory, often causing people to walk past it repetitively, not knowing it. Over time, foxes have been noted to attempt to open doors, humans have tried to fly using nonexistent wings. There are rumors of dogs trying to mess with silk from spider webs, thinking they are spiders. Spiders have been noted to try talking, following the human memories of speech.
