Ring of Fleeting imortality
When worn this ring cannot be removed for a whole week. It renders the user immortal for twenty minutes at some point during the week. When this happens is random and there is no way for the user to know if the effect is active or not.

Ceiling fan of propulsion
This ceiling fan emits a force equal to that of a jet aircraft's main engines when switched on but only when properly installed in an ordinary building.

Reverse Mimic
This object is perceived by everyone as a living person that can move, talk and hold conversations. It is, however, an unlocked immobile chest.

Hat of Avian telepathy
This ridiculous looking hat was intended to be used to telepathically command various birds. However, it only links with one specific bird that is currently migrating across the Atlantic. The said bird wants you to know it likes fish.

Lamp of Moth summoning
This very magical lamp when setup and lit in the night air will slowly draw moths and other nocturnal insects to it.

Stone of moss growth
This enchanted stone causes an acceleration of moss growth where ever it is left to sit.

Calidor's Staff of Indoor rain
This staff does nothing when cast indoors however when cast outside while it is raining will cause a giant structure to form encompassing the rain clouds and everything beneath them. This structure vanishes the moment the rain ends.

Mimic's Mimic
An ornate little chest, When a living thing gets close to it, it automatically animates and makes a bite attack. Those that are bitten by the Mimic's Mimic will shortly become a mimic. Mimic's Mimic however will not attack mimes.

Rod of Blunder
Much like the fabled Rod of Wonder, its effects upon use are random and varied, but they are always randomly bad and often cause serious magical accidents.

Rod of Plunder
When activated, robs the target of everything valuable they own that is not cursed or otherwise difficult/impossible to remove except for underwear.

Rating Charm
Aids in the identification of many items, but every time it is utilized, it slowly turns its user into a rodent.

Ring of Blinking
When worn, the wearer blinks with its eyes far more often than they should. This can cause negative effects when reading and studying and other actions that require mainly eyesight

Fire-Claymore
A large enchanted two-handed sword made from a special variety of clay. Its real powers can only be accessed by a golem made from the exact substance as the blade.

Rye-Sickle
This item usually takes the form of a very dull sickle. But when used to harvest rye grain, it becomes almost supernaturally sharp, cuts down several aquare meters in a single slash and automatically bundles it. Owned by a very successful rye farmer.

Crown of Munchkinry: A golden crown that massively boosts the wearer's ability to conceive of creative, useful, and extreme ways of using anything. Causes the wearer to ignore simpler options.

Thieves' Downfall: A crystal orb. Whenever someone who isn't trying to steal it touches it, their clothes instantly become waterlogged. Whenever someone trying to steal it accidentally breaks it, it explodes in a massive blast of water that is intangible to the thief. Creates resentment towards not wet people in people made soaked by it.

9 Foot Pole: A magical pole that is always one foot less than what is needed for the user to poke what they want to poke with it.

Scroll of Explosive Art: When activated, causes all art within a hundred feet of the caster to explode when admired by an art critic.

Amulet of Common Sense: Says "maybe this is a bad idea" when the wearer is about to do something very stupid.

Book of Drills: A book full of drills meant for honing whatever skill the reader is currently working on honing. If the reader is not working on honing a skill, the book stabs the reader with a drill.

Boots of the Scenic Route: Can only be removed after the wearer has walked a mile in them. Whenever the wearer wants to walk to a destination, they will be forced to take the scenic route. They will inevitably enjoy the walk.

Uni-cycle: On Mondays, transforms the user into a unicorn. On Tuesdays, transforms into a unicycle when sat upon. On Wednesdays, whenever it strikes an object that has had copies made of it, all the copies are destroyed. On Thursdays, causes anyone cut with it to focus only on a single thought at a time for one hour. On Fridays, merges a washing machine it cuts with a drying machine next to it, if there is one. On Saturdays, transforms whoever is cut by it into a unicorn. On Sundays, cuts whoever is cut by it once.

Hypnotoad: A rainbow colored toad kept in an opaque terrarium because it mentally enslaves anyone who looks at it for a mere instant. Almost took over the local kingdom.

Anti-Hypnosis Sunglasses: Prevents the wearer from seeing through them(because they're opaque) but protects the wearer from visual hypnosis effects.

Bottled Ninja: A flask full of invisible liquid. Causes the drinker to instantly gain all ninja skills at master level, and replaces every language in their mind with Japanese.

Iron Maiden: An iron statue of a maiden. Any man who looks upon her will be decapitated by her.

Scroll of Nickname: When two names are written on the scroll and the scroll is thrown into a fire, one of the people whose names are written in the scroll will cursed so that people will only call them by the other name, and they will think it completely normal.

Steal Maiden - A statue of a young woman made out of an indeterminate silvery metal.  When activated a spirit grabs the nearest woman and swaps her with a similar male version from a linked dimension.  The other dimension has the linked but opposite statue, called the Man of Steal.  If both are activated at the same time, an unlikely event, the effect extends to a radius of several hundred miles.

Everloaf: A loaf of bread. Any piece of this bread will rapidly expand into another Everloaf.

Cursed Scroll of Identification: A scroll that convinces whoever holds it that it's a passport. It isn't, and in fact, when read by a border official, it explodes.

Curse Magnet: After being held for ten seconds, transfers all curses in a wide radius of the holder to the holder.

Wand of Normalization: When someone is zapped by this wand, they become convinced that all unusual statuses they may have are in fact completely normal for them, and that they always had those statuses.

oh dear god, i love this curse.  i'm stealing this for my next game.  maybe make it into a ring or some other enchanted piece of equipment so they player characters have a reason to keep it around.  it's awesome from a roleplay perspective.

Severloaf
This enchanted baguette will sever any extremity it strikes. If eaten, causes all of the eaters extremities to magically sever themselves (including the head).

Sorehammer
This enchanted warhammer causes horrific weeping sores to erupt on any creature it touches, wherever it is touched. Organic armour doesn't protect against this but inorganic armour does to an extent. They are quite painful, but they will go away with ordinary treatments.

Rattle-Rattle
These throwing weapons and launcher shake madly at all times making a noise similar to maracas. Automatically drives away most weaker animals, so isn't good for hunting with. Difficult also to aim with and throw due to the movement.

Max Heal Potion
Fully heals the drinker, if their name is Max. Otherwise only heals minor wounds

Fox o' Nine Tails (spoilered just in case)
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Ocillosword
This high tech looking sword has a pair of electrodes and a lot of knobs on its hilt. The blade changes shape epending on what electric waveform is input and what settings the knobs are turned to. A skilled user with a good signal generator can change the blade to whatever shape they desire, including brutal moving chainsaw-like waveforms.

I'll borrow this for a sci-fi setting.
