The Ring of Archery

All arrows fired through this ring are 100% accurate.

What if you intentionally try to miss? Will the arrow backtrack to hit your enemy?

You could incorporate that ring just in front of an arrow rest on a bow and make a legendary bow that cannot ever miss. Best tactic would probably be firing wildy into the air with the intention that the shots arc and hit your targets. Use speed shooting techniques instead of accurate proper shooting.

There are only a few arrows that will actually fire through a ring, and those aren't very big/powerful.

Bodkin arrowheads would work, very narrow, very good armour piercing but not as damaging against unarmoured. The arrow would need very narrow fletching but that would only reduce accuracy which is not a problem.

In that case you actually don't even need a bow. Just carry arrows and push them through the ring while aiming at the target. In order to not miss the arrows will magically pick up enough momentum to hit and damage the target regardless of the distance away, so you don't actually need the mechanical advantage from the bow.

Saying "I will die or be put in an And I Must Scream situation somewhere in my life." would make the wearer completely immortal, so there's that.

Don't be so sure. Maybe mankind invents a cure to death and everyone lives happily ever after. Or maybe you weren't ever born at all. Or maybe you immediately reach Nirvana and become one with the universe, leaving all desire behind. Or maybe your use of 'or' bites you back and you die and be put into a situation where you wish for death. Or maybe your life is determined to end just a moment before you die. What about a parasitic nosering that gives you physical bonuses like strength, enhanced wound healing s sense of smell on par with a bloodhound and the like every time you nuzzle someone which then infects them with another ring, the catch is the ring keeps growing the whole time and will eventually drop off once it completely tears through your nose.
