Marks moves and fires at the nearest skeleton, barely chipping it for 1 damage.

In retaliation, it charges and nearly kills him, hitting for 3 damage.

Debuffs:
Marks - Move speed 2, 2 turns remain
Boldbold - Move speed 3, 3 turns remain
Teirra - Move speed 2, 4 turns remain
Chain - Move speed 3, 2 turns remain

Unless I missed the part about attacks of oppurtunity, retreat is the best option for us.

Zones of control!

Every unit has a zone of control, the six hexes directly surrounding them. Trying to leave a hex in an enemy zone of control triggers a standard attack. Standard characters can only attack once per turn in this way, but you may trigger multiple attacks of opportunity with a single move, from multiple enemies.

In one turn, you may move your full movement amount, then attack with a standard melee or ranged attack. Attacking ends your turn. You may not move and then use a spell or ability, as that gives mages too much initiative.
((You're pretty much guaranteed dead unless you use the scroll. Everyone else is in a similar situation, except maybe Boldbold who'd still have a devil of a time with going all Solid Snake around these patrols.

In fact, I think I need some services.))

Pay lady any reasonable amount to scream "Use the scrolls immediately!" at the party.

The Scrolls of Return cannot be used while on the battle-map, and the battle isn't actually hopeless for most of them.

((Craaaaaaaap.

...so I kind of don't want to run this battle from the sidelines, but I rather fear they'll all die if I don't. What's your opinion on that? :x))

I think I mentioned earlier that these particular skeletons are too poorly made to get AoOs. Feel free to circle around them within biting distance.

...so I kind of don't want to run this battle from the sidelines, but I rather fear they'll all die if I don't. What's your opinion on that? :x))
I'll give you one more freebie, but then the gypsy will be exhausted and send you on your way.

((If I resurrect a zombie, does he move & attack on the same turn? Also, about close-ranged spells - perhaps there should be some way to move and use them? Because for now mages can't attack with them - only retaliate. The same question goes for wands))

Science is always important. But it needs more flaming cats. Can't we build bridge-based catapults and fling flaming cats at the dust and goo?

It's time for the ATHATH Death Counter to increase once more in celebration for the end of the world.

Good idea. No to wands, but I'll mark certain spells & abilities - notably your touch spell and Boldbold's charge attack - as "combat" (unless someone can think of a more descriptive one-word name), allowing them to be used after moving.

((Perfect. I'll make a use of this if I will somehow live through the ordeal.))

If no one objects, I move north-northwest.

((Another interesting point - do not living creatures have soul or substitute for it?))
