((It would take several hours to trace every round each individual soldier, especially since I'm subtly manipulating an entire battlefield, not just 10 guys and a car.))

(Worth it.)

Here's the map for this:
Well, that small beach to the south looks nice, and then my primary goal would be disabling the land-facing defenses from behind. Then I'd call in our reinforcements and gollywop the rest of the base from their behind. before setting up naval-facing defenses of our own.

Does lighting effect night-time aiming?

Hmm, 'quiet' options in the 40s were probably limited. Might be better to get a couple PT-boats to do a direct assault while we land a few ground teams in more than one location instead.

I'll make my plan in 3 phases: Intel, Shopping, and Deployment. You can comment and give advice on each phase.

Phase 1: Intel

Before doing anything we'll need to know our enemy. It's hard to spot enemies in the pictures due to the darkness and poor resolution.

As you can see, I suck at spotting.

The base is currently held by the Allies, as can be seen on the tank insignia.

That would take eons to do. EONS
Worth it.
Also, is the 'north' the right side of the picture now?

No, north is still the top. Notice the dirt road.

There definitely are, that's why I'm asking for help. I can barely see anything in those images.

Mainly, on the southern isthmus, I think there's an arty position smurfington mentioned & probably an MG nest along with it.
Also, there's a nice ol water-tower right next to the building east of that isthmus. Everyone knows about snipers and high places.
Sleep-time though.

@Cyan If you check the zoomed frontal pictures you'll see it's an open-air bunker occupied by some infantry.

Sorry about that but that's IcyTea's light blue,my pale cyan is at the back, you can tell the difference because IcyTea's circles are smooth while mine are rough.

Yep. Definitely a pair of deployed howitzers. Those are bad news.

My recommendation is that you feign an assault on the main harbour, pull back before the boats get shredded, and let a sneaky team slip in and take down important targets, then send in the rest of the assault team.

I also added 4 ships to the shopping list, 2 of them are transport class and the other is a giant barge covered in artillery pieces. The last is a call in ability.
