Our current intelligence would indicate that we shouldn't be encountering anything heavier then armored cars, but I have been strongly reconsidering purchasing Ausf. As, mostly because they'll be little more then artillery tractors the moment we encounter any anti tank weapon at all.

If everyone else is in agreement, I would be willing to replace them with either a StuG, a Panzer IV, or a Hetzer. The vehicle with the most votes shall be chosen.

Allow me to mention some stats for the Panzer I and Panzer IV:
Panzer I - 7-13mm armour, 2x Machine guns main armament
Panzer IV - 10-88mm armour, 7.5cm cannon main armament, 2x MGs secondary.
To put this into perspective, an American 50.cal machine gun round could easily penetrate over 15mm of armour. Also note that the Panzer IV stats are from a 1943 model, so a better gun is probable.
NINJAEDIT - I'll vote for a Hetzer because of the lower silhouette.

I would ask why fire can burn two men to death without getting hot enough to burn a book, but then I read "INEXTINGUISHABLE RUNNING KAMIKAZE RADIOACTIVE FLAMING ZOMBIE" and realized that logic, reason, and physics are all occupied with crying in the corner right now.

I'm thinking that my layout will be this:
Mortars x1 (20R)
Motrobike w/MG42 x2 (30R)
Panzer I x1 (50R)

Squad:
2 Medics
1 Communications Officer (Armed with handgun, and only if he's available. If not, just give me another gunner I guess. )
2 Snipers
5 Riflemen
4 Anti-tankmen
3 Submachine gunner
3 Machine gunner

Keep in mind that you don't get that infantry back if they die. They're gone for good.

Okay, the game will start after I finish school (about 8 hours from now). I'd recommend the general and officers get their planning done now.

((I think this is for you.))

I don't get it. Why is that next to my medic thing? Were you hoping I'd drive a tank?

It's a reference to 'Allo 'Allo, an old British sitcom. There was a german officer called Lt. Gruber that drove around an armored car, calling it 'his little tank'.

Let's hope our Gruber isn't....you know.

Oh. Hans Gruber is the big bad in the first instalment of Die Hard, played by the wonderful Alan Rickman.

Do you have any links to any particularly memorable moments from that show? I'd like to get a feel for it without watching several episodes, to see if I should watch several episodes.
