Shopping list updated. Unless someone notices a problem, I'll be moving to an actual battleplan in a few hours once I get to my desktop, so I can work on pictures.

Those reinforcements are packing some fucking heat. You also don't need 3 of those airbags.

How many can one carry? I assumed one, and got them based on that.

Fleet's here.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Infantry squads are in the landers, half the airbags have commandos, the other half have the support troops.

Requesting orders.

((-e: I tried to play this mission straight and got absolutely demolished. That south landing is near impossible to take without stealth. Also those fucking artillery pieces rape all.))

Phase 3: Deployment
I don't have access to image editing right now, but here's what I've planned so far:
  • Engineers and a small amount of infantry land in the north and set up rudimentary defense with sandbags, mortar, and machine gun. Commandos land in the south and stand by.
  • Rest of the infantry, radioman and medics land in the north, with the armour barge going hot on the tanks. Commandos sneak in and blow up the comms and the generators, and assassinate gunners.
  • Infantry charges the enemy, commandos flank them.
  • Finish off stragglers and await reinforcements.

Yo medics. I'm the Boss around here, and you will address me as "Boss Medic," is that clear? Now does everyone have their sandwiches?

The landings are risky, if they see you, everything will get covered in artillery justice. You'll need the barge to fuck up as much as possible before it gets asploded.

I maaaay have gone a little overboard with the defenses. If all looks lost I'll throw in a free airstrike.

Really, I've considered the risks of doing those landings in my plans. Once I get the images up, it will be clear as day.

I doubt they'll send in reinforcements before they're even alerted, otherwise they could just have the reinforcements already on patrol, and once they are, we've already set up.

My plan is basically to turn this into a land assault assisted by naval instead of a direct naval assault, by the way.

Good plan. Do keep in mind there would be a reason this isn't a pure ground assault, though.

Why can't you just let the general send us on a suicide mission?
