Turn 9: Life and DeathMake Space Eels! All the Space Eels! Have them photosynthesize!
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!
[5] You make pretty translucent photosynthetic space eels with multicolored glowing organs. They're playful and curious, and make cute songlike chirping noises.
Create another sphere, with a molten iron core.
[6] You create a massive volcanic world, cracked and straining under its own weight.
Having nothing better to do at this point, Rassura tries to check out that ball that just appeared.
[1] Tasty ball! Well, not that tasty.
"Help me out here, somebody. Can't be doing everything myself, can I? This is a team effort, dang it! I need someone to enrich this cloud with a little je ne sais quoi, dig? Mr. Vanhurk, care to introduce some order into here?"
Create little clumps of atypical ice within the cloud, with sizable spaces within their particular crystal structure for the microbes to use as advanced substrates, hopefully forming larger colonies in the process.
Help this whole event move along in an orderly fashion.
[6+1] You harden and bind everything in the cloud into one giant irregular lattice of water-and-dust-filled ice. Oh, and microbes. Gotta entomb the microbes.
Speaking of which, the microbes appear to lack souls.
"Good. This will be a fitting world for my harbingers to develop"
Create a sort of unlife on the planet that can feed on the souls stored in the core of the planet and is resistant to the vapors.
"Life-draining or not, you're not putting WATER on my toasty volcanic wonderland. I'd melt the universe to a volcanic slurry before I'd let that happen. Ostrioth, as I believe it's been called, shall remain fiery until the end of days."
Aid Mort with his deathlings, giving them a working 'digestive system' to release heat as a waste product when they consume souls.
[2+1] You create giant black stick insect like things. They're attracted to souls, and try to harvest them with two short feeler-like things as they pass into the planet's surface. Erratic cracks in their carapace glow red with heat when they're successful at devouring some soulstuff.
Drown the unclean Volcanic World in deep floods so its taint will be sealed off from the rest of the universe!
"Interesting. It would seem that a combination of our powers is more effective than using them individually. Good work, brothers. Although I suppose there is not much more I can do to help this planet. But you know what else is interesting? It would seem one of our brothers of the Water Aspect wants to destroy our creation. We cannot leave him unopposed." Aquilos remarks as he sees Quinghai attempting his destruction.
Oppose Quinghai with a ball of strong winds that will suck the deluge of water around itself and keep it from reaching the death planet.
[5] vs [2] Aquilos succeeds at making Quinghai's deluge a bit foamy as it thunders across Ostrioth's surface, sealing its soulsucking properties beneath an insulating layer of force-blocking water. The gasses are largely trapped as well, unable to resist being dissolved into the water or trapped as bubbles against the seabed.
[2] The unlife stickbugs don't handle the wall of water very well, and most of them are smashed asunder as the deluge hits volcanic formations.
[4-1] The purple gas giant seems a bit more turbulent than it was.
Roiling ball of fire streaked with shifting bands of superheated wind and condensed water vapor.
Vast cloud of delicate water-and-dust-and-microbe-laden ice scaffolding.
Ubiquitous infestation of asexually reproducing neverborn microbes. They feed off dirt and air.
Spherical shell of dense gas surrounding a thin soup of much thinner gasses.
Large patch of wind around the waterball, airball, earthball, and fireball.
Ostrioth. Massive solid rock planet. Soulsucking void for a core, which has adverse effects on life depending on distance. Writhing, grasping atmosphere of life-eroding vapors fueled by numerous massive volcanoes. Soulsucking properties and atmosphere both trapped beneath a layer of insulating water.
Rare giant black stick insect like things. They're attracted to souls, and try to harvest them with two short feeler-like things as they pass into the planet's surface. Erratic cracks in their carapace glow red with heat when they're successful at devouring some soulstuff. Were more common before most of them were smashed asunder.
Wind of Change, universe-spanning winds that nurture and evolve whatever they touch.
Purple gas giant, chalk core. A little turbulent.
Giant volcanic rock world with an iron core, thoroughly cracked and unstable due to its own mass.
Pretty translucent photosynthetic space eels with multicolored glowing organs. They're playful and curious, and make cute songlike chirping noises.
