Quinghai awakes when the volcanoes erupt.
"My, did I fall into a slumber? I wonder what happened while dead Quinghai lay dreaming..."
Quinghai chuckles to himself as he gazes over Creation.

Roiling ball of fire streaked with shifting bands of superheated wind and condensed water vapor.

"The Sun has changed little, I see."

A lumpy sphere of earth. Thin, windy atmosphere. Vaguely close to the fireball. Surrounded by a thin, erratic ring of small rocks and crystals.
 Tiny cloud of asexually reproducing neverborn microbes. They feed off dirt and air.

"Ooh, nice rings. And there's life! So exciting!"
("Neverborn microbes"? What the heck are those?)

Spherical shell of dense gas surrounding a thin soup of much thinner gasses.

"Still the same as ever. Such a shame."

Large ball of very cold, ice-covered water vaguely close to the flaming sphere, lumpy earthball, and aero-orb.

"Ooh, this is new. Attempt no landing here, I suppose?"

Large patch of wind around the waterball, airball, earthball, and fireball.
Wind of Change, universe-spanning winds that nurture and evolve whatever they touch.

"Also new. Excellent, the inhabitants of the Four Worlds will be able to reach each other fairly easily."

Purple gas giant, chalk core.

"...Well, we all have off days."

Massive solid rock planet. Soulsucking void for a core, which has adverse effects on life depending on distance. Writhing, grasping atmosphere of life-eroding vapors fueled by numerous massive volcanoes.

"My oh my. This is just...just...not ideal...it seems that there is some problem that must be SOLVED!"

You smash the two together into a beautiful cloud of ice particles, water vapor, and cold dust. The microbes are very happy.

"I'LL GET TO YOU LATER."

Drown the unclean Volcanic World in deep floods so its taint will be sealed off from the rest of the universe!

"Interesting. It would seem that a combination of our powers is more effective than using them individually. Good work, brothers. Although I suppose there is not much more I can do to help this planet. But you know what else is interesting? It would seem one of our brothers of the Water Aspect wants to destroy our creation. We cannot leave him unopposed." Aquilos remarks as he sees Quinghai attempting his destruction.

Oppose Quinghai with a ball of strong winds that will suck the deluge of water around itself and keep it from reaching the death planet.

"It's hardly harming anyone right now, though, is it? Let Mr. Mort have his artful planet of death. I find it gives the whole star system a very nice aesthetic. And that atmosphere and volcanic activity! It's a pretty good example of what you can do with some proper teamwork, really. Not to point any fingers, Mr. Quinghai, but you're not exactly being a team player here, or a good sport. Might I politely ask you to reconsider?"

"Oh no, no need to worry about that. Mr. Mort's a very okay sort of guy. Easy-going and agreeable, generally. Presumably as long as you don't go trampling about on his and his friends' creations without express permission, naturally. You could just ask him not to blight your worlds rather than intervene directly, and I could see how that would work much better than simply going over there and plopping a steaming load of water on everything, which is kind of dickish from an ethical standpoint."

"At least ask him permission first. We're all friends here, pretty much. Look at Mr. Nivorik over there. He's the Aspect of Life and he's not overly bothered by Mr. Mort's doings. Just leave it as it is and you can politely ask Mr. Mort to stop blighting things so much when it ever becomes a problem. I mean, look at how happy he is with all this creation he's doing! Dare you take that away from the Aspect of Death?"

Mort clacks his mandibles and focuses his eight red eyes on the water aspect

"You speak of things you know nothing about, elemental. My planet is not a mockery, it is exactly what this universe needs. Life carries a certain power with it, surely you see that we cannot allow such power to grow uncontrolled. No, the excess shall be stored within this planet of death, Ostrioth"
